Well, if you believe that hitting with RISP or bases loaded is not a skill when comparing to any other situation then maybe Goins has something hidden in there.

Doesn't help when Wilner was screaming on top of his lungs how Goins tied the franchise record for hits with the bases loaded and how great of a season he's had

 

Unless we can parle this into some sort of overpayment on the market or something

I'll say this again, if he has a different approach that makes him a better hitter with RISP, then it would only make sense he does it all the time.

I feel bad for the Yankees after that hidden ball trick.

 

I felt amazing for Estrada, he gave up a lead off double in the inning, got the first out, a long fly ball that almost went over the head of Bautista that somehow lead to a double play.

Potentially today is Bautista's last ever home game for the Jays. He deserves a good send off, hope he gets a home run today.

This is a big moment here for Joey Bats to do something special, or at least not do anything bad.

 

He's figured out how to hit the ball the other way. It would sure be nice to see him also be able to turn on something though.

Romine definitely blocked the plate for Bautista. Good play from him, and good call by the ump to see that.

 

Yeah, textbook by Romine. Don't know why they sent Bautista there with no one out. If that's the most we have to complain about today though, then things are going pretty well.

Didnt see the need to send him considering the score.

 

It's Luis Rivera, he's not exactly known for being conservative when it comes to sending runners.
