TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Since King hasn't done one of these in a few days and people were asking, I decided I'd quickly put together a thread until he gets back. These threads won't be very detailed or as nice as the ones King does, I'm just going to be compiling the box scores from mlbfarm.com (shout out to NJH for posting the link in the prospect thread). *Game was called early due to rain*

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 King has been busy. He recently got into the used fidget spinner sales industry. I have been told he will mia until shortly after the all star break.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 (edited) Greene hit 102 and 101 mph. I can only assume most of his outings have been trying to control that speed into the strike zone. So much potential that needs to be harnessed. Need a Sanchez type transformation Edited May 25, 2017 by LetTheBallFly

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Satchel Page? Lol, don't know how Sanchez was auto corrected to Sacher

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Twistedlogic, the hero Blue Jays message board deserves! But is it the one it needs right now?

Don't think he got anywhere near that when he got to the bigs. I'm thinking the gun is hot.

Don't think he got anywhere near that when he got to the bigs. I'm thinking the gun is hot. I've seen multiple reports from different scouts that he is throwing that fast on some pitches. Plus radar guns are suppose to better all around now than back then I think...who knows though

I do remember Alvarez throwing hard before the arm trouble now that I think of it though.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 I'd love to see Roemon Fields turn into something. He's a treat to watch with his Kevin Pillar style catches and outrageous speed on the basepaths. The bat will determine if he ever makes it up for an extended period.

So many similarities to Jarrod Dyson. If he can post a wRC+ > 85 at the ML level, he'd be a very valuable piece.
