Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 so we are all eating grilled cheese again? I don't eat cheese. It's bad for you. But that's great for Grilli's confidence. He really needed that.
el duque Verified Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 or another dp José is not going to hit for dp
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 It's hard to hit into a double play with nobody on base. I think we're safe. With our luck he a foul ball off Morales and they will both be called out with Gibby ejected.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 You started it by calling me a troll. That was 100% uncalled for. Go pop another pill, have another beer and stop bothering me. Actually he said you're trolling....
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Wtf? Pearce PH for Morales? Edit: left hamstring tightness, FFS
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 and now Morales is injured.... lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 or another dp You need a guy on base, bro.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 This high performance program sucks. We have tripled our injuries.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Did he swing at that too Vic? Go f*** yourself
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Did he swing at that too Vic? Go f*** yourself He's thrown Gibbons out the most by any umpire, lol. Crazy!
Governator Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Doesn't get much worse than this patchwork of a lineup at the MLB level.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Doesn't get much worse than this patchwork of a lineup at the MLB level. well, you'd have to go out of your way and intentionally do it.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Smoak, Coglan, Goins, Barney, and Maile/Ohlman for our infield a year after alcs appearance! Who'd have thunk it??? Thank you Shatkins for bringing that Cleveland know how up north.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 It may be just me, but everytime I see Carrasco pitch he reminds me of the type of pitcher Stroman could be with another year or 2 of pitching. Similar fastball, breaking balls, and velocity for both. The main difference is Carrasco uses both sides of the plate to both right and left handed hitters. Another difference as well is Carrasco has a good changeup and Stroman does not. If he could develop a serviceable changeup his Ks would increase dramatically imo.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 oh my... did loup just hit another batter. don't think anyone here is surprised
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Does Guyer ever get on base with a hit?
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 This high performance program sucks. We have tripled our injuries. I think it directly correlates to how un-athletic and old this team is. I swear I remember hearing someone from the Jays brass say this team needed to get more athletic after the Jays lost in the ALCS, Pearce and Kendrys.......
el duque Verified Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Loup is good for lhh but right handed..... he can't get them out
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 LOL right after Buck said Loup doesnt allow runs.......curse of Buck/Tabby strikes again.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Loup is good for lhh but right handed..... he can't get them out Should be a full time lefty specialist unless it's a blow out
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Who did AA trade Gomes for again? Esmil Rogers
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 It's disgusting that other teams get to pad their wins and stats against the kind of lineups we've had to roll out. I hope they aren't too proud of themselves, they're being gifted.
