Super.

Ramirez has never really had a fair shake. I think it's pretty likely that he's an improvement over some of Toronto's current relievers.

High strikeout guy. But he walks a lot and is an extreme flyball pitcher.

Front office's m.o. seems to be if you're getting Ks you're probably doing something right. Can't really argue with the results either, Grilli, Benoit and Liriano all started showing improved results practically the moment the Jays took a flyer on them.

Yeah that's a good point. He's only 27 as well. I like the move, he easily belongs in the big leagues even if it's in more of a low leverage role.

It's hard to believe a guy could miss that many bats and give up that much contact. Hes either really good or really s***. Not a bad guy to take a chance on though.

They have such a good track record with these kind of guys that I would assume they see something in him that says he can be effective.

Had a solid rookie year with the Cubs. Even believe back in 2014 there were discussions about him possibly being their closer of the future.

This could be a real solid signing. Jays pitching coaches have a way of getting the most out of their guys.

He'll get plenty of low leverage opportunities with this team.

I see what you did there.

Well when you're already losing by 4-5 runs it's pretty low leverage

And there's been lots of THAT
