Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Is it blister related? I suspect he would have tried to get a few innings in if it was just to save the pen a little.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 So I guess it's time to kill the nail and he will be out a couple of months?
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Why would they even send him out with that? Obviously doesn't look healed, was just waiting to be ripped open again.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 So I guess it's time to kill the nail and he will be out a couple of months? Well apparently he's already had half of it removed.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 It's kinda of hilarious that a broken nail stops a pro athlete. I understand that you can't pitch effectively like that, but when your just talk about a broken nail on the surface it sounds stupid... Especially if you compare that injury to what players in other sports deal with.

leaffie Verified Member Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Why doesnt he go to a nail salon and get a gel nail. They are practically indestructible. Have to get them ground off. Wasnt it AJ burnett that used to use a gel nail.
