Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Bautista's back folks, that was hammered.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 I feel like no good should be able to come from a foul ball. If a foul can advance runners, then a ball hitting a runner in foul territory should cause the runner to be out I get what you're saying, but a lazy pop to mid center field isn't a positive result either, unless a runner is in position to tag. Most sac flys are easy outs that happen to become positive results due to the tag up rule, so for me it's fine that fouls can do the same.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Boom, thought that was gone, but still who hoo!
BlueJays Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 lol. I thought he will be able to catch that.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 That ball had top spin or else it's gone.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 That was a cannon, just didn't have enough height. The crowd is buzzing now, feed off it!
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Bautista's back folks, that was hammered. Warning track power
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Ya know, last year Buck could have said Get Up Ball and gotten that ball out of the park for us.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Who here likes Colome's face? Lol
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I knew we were getting trolled by the camera crew, that would have been disheartening if Dickerson came up with the ball.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 Ya know, last year Buck could have said Get Up Ball and gotten that ball out of the park for us. "Rise up ball" for 2017
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Very well pitched game, I was listening to the radio on my drive home, apparently Sanchez had a minor surgery on his finger nail to alleviate pressure on his blister or something of that nature and his nail split(today), a separate issue from the blister, so 2017... *sighs* Buck explained that Sanchez had about 1/3 of his nail removed, and it scabbed over (gross I know), but it then opened up today. He speculated that the remaining part of the nail might be damaged too.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 I knew we were getting trolled by the camera crew, that would have been disheartening if Dickerson came up with the ball. Between the camera crew and Buck I thought we had a second deck home run.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Between the camera crew and Buck I thought we had a second deck home run. Yeah and it sounded and looked like it was gone off the bat.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Between the camera crew and Buck I thought we had a second deck home run. I got excited for a second but between the trajectory of the ball and Sportsnet's ability to troll us in the past I was skeptical.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 <- This guy! Yeah and it sounded and looked like it was gone off the bat. Definitely was hit hard enough

MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 So where's the guy that said Martin isn't clutch?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Buck explained that Sanchez had about 1/3 of his nail removed, and it scabbed over (gross I know), but it then opened up today. He speculated that the remaining part of the nail might be damaged too. Yeah, Siddall said he was removed because his nail split open. Sucks man.
