Basically the same s*** different pile. End of the day, that's really the only logical explanation and if I remember the replay the ump pointed at Stro which indicates a balk. We had the s***** angle behind home plate instead of seeing the normal one.

I'm pretty sure there is not balk rule without runners on base. a balk is due to a move meant to trick a base runner.
