I can't give you a link unfortunately as I was told this by someone who knows EE and other Dominican players very well. I can't speak to it's absolute veracity as a result, but I'm just putting it out there.

 

Maybe it would be better to say that EE's salary was heavily performance/appearance based? I don't know.

Same. This entire forum gets deep DR info from Ang... he knows plenty of ball players. He know's Cano his batting coach, that helped EE, etc, etc... hell I even found an old pic Ang made, but I lost the bookmark, he's standing with Cano. I'll believe him.
