Hosmer has shut up a lot of people in this tourney.
For sure. The prior almost-1000 games played in the majors of slightly above replacement level play are now rendered completely inconsequential thanks to this year's WBC!

When hard contact = a ground ball basically right at your 3B, it's a tough sell for me.

I think he meant the double, but still the pitcher was phenomenal, should have gotten out of the inning unscathed.

So Stroman for the final. Should be fun.

Also against Puerto Rico again, which is the team that scored 4 off him in the first inning last time. Hopefully he pitches a better game. Needs to be getting the Ks when he has guys on 0-2 counts.

Jonn is probably the worst s***-poster on this board, and that's saying something.

I have been reading all day how US wins either way. If Puerto Rico wins... Merica still owns them.

It was a bad joke big boy. It's going to be ok.

Since Stangstag will blow a gasket it I cheer against Stroman. Lets hope he has an outstanding start and the US bullpen implodes. Really want Puerto Rico to win though.

I don't know if this gun is hot or not, but Stroman's FB looks to be in mid-season form (93-95).

I'd like to see him nibble a little less.

Same. He has no reason to nibble with so much movement. That last slider was nice.

Stro's looking great and he still doesn't have full control of his Slider. I haven't even seen a curve yet.

He's got three different fastballs (sinker, four-seamer, and cutter) with the same release point, but all behave wildly differently. That has to be so hard for most hitters to square up.

Stroman taking a page out of Osuna's book with a pause in his leg kick a couple of times tonight.

Stro is jacked tonight, will be huge for him heading into the season as opposed to toiling in the dog days of the spring.
