Email said "It's in anticipation of Bautista signing and news will go live immediately."

I think "anticipation" translates to "in the event of"

Stream is to announce that Austin Jackson has been signed to replace Bautista, who has joined Edwin in Cleveland on a 2-year deal.

All I know is the stream requested is up, not sure if they will announce that he is playing in Japan or Toronto but a stream is running ready to go live for over an hour now.

Do you not sign an NDA or something when you work for a huge media company?

Jon Heyman is my neighbor. I have no information I just wanted to share. We've never actually spoken I just stare at him when he walks by on the street. Dude wakes up early like me.

Are you sure he wakes up early because maybe he has been up all night reading bjmb looking for headlines

BJMB has a working agreement with Rogers.

Hard to imagine Cleveland having the money to sign him. But if they do seems like the ideal option for him. Rays make some sense as well.

I didn't post any information that could give someone access to the stream before it goes up so I am fine. Some stuff yeah I don't speak about due to the NDA like you mentioned.

possible I guess. Everytime I see him its like 6am. He just looks like a guy though. One time during the playoff run in 2015 I wanted to say something inappropriate but I always end up just staring. He definitely knows who I am though.

I once ran into Floyd Mayweather Jr. at a Burger King in South Beach.

Probably gets up early to get the hell away from his creepy neighbor staring at him. Would be like living next to spanky

Ask him how he went from the most prestigious sports publication in America to something called "FanRag." I mean, it literally has Rag in it's name FFS.

HAHA yeah exactly. Like those of you who live a city and have a morning commute to work will understand. Those people you see all the time because they have your same schedule. Like you know who they are and they know you but you've never actually said anything. Well for me that person is the guy who works at the health food store who I see constantly. but #2 is Jon Heyman.

Mark Shapiro master plan to antagonize other teams into signing Bautista now versus waiting for his compensation period to run out.

Just got my promotions schedule email. Seems like a distraction technique to soften the blow when the Rays sign Bautista. The Aaron Sanchez Bobblehead should be easily the most realistic looking one yet. For those aren't on the mailing list, this was the email.

Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed the holiday season and that your 2017 is off to a great start.

Spring Training is only a few weeks away and we hope that you are excited about the return of Blue Jays baseball.

We are excited to announce that the 2017 promotions/events schedule is now available! Some highlights include:

Bobbleheads – Marco Estrada, Josh Donaldson and Aaron Sanchez

Thursday Night in the 6ix Presented by TD

Friday Fan Festivals presented by Bacardi

Blue Jays Celebrate Canada 150 Presented by Rogers

The full promotional schedule is available here.

Be sure to purchase your Game Pack today and select your favorite promotion/event dates as part of your package.

Our 20 & 12 Game Packs are now on sale. The 20 Game Pack allows you to select the games of your choice, including the Home Opener & Canada Day. For a limited time, purchasing the 20 Game Pack will provide access to 2017 Postseason single game tickets before the general public! Full details are available at http://www.bluejays.com/gamepacks.

We look forward to seeing you at Rogers Centre!

Sincerely,

Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club

In that scenario, Jays get a pick, and Bautista looks bad for bailing.

Genius.

Yeah it was him, he was a lot smaller than I thought too. Still wouldn't want to mess with the guy though. He is only 5'8 and 147 pounds.

That's unfortunate

You wouldn't want to mess with Floyd Mayweather? Consider me shocked.

My sources are telling me that Bautista was only using the Blue Jays as leverage and that he's about to sign in Cleveland on a 2 year deal worth over $40m.

Haha what I meant was, if you were in a club and the dude was in a hoodie and bumped into you, you wouldn't think twice to tell him to watch himself, once he took of the shirt I'd be running for the hills.
