Jays222 Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Pompey makes Travis look like Cal Ripken when it comes to durability so I wouldn't count on it. And Pompey was just placed on the 60 day DL with a knee injury.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 No, he plays LF. He really needs to move to 1st or DH. He tries hard but he's terrible in the OF which makes him lose all the value of his bat.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Over/Under Pompey 100 PA in Jays uniform Pompey DL again?

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Pompey DL again? He never came off it. He was rehabbing in the minors and they just shut him down and transferred him to the 60.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 And Pompey was just placed on the 60 day DL with a knee injury. Wow... He's Mr. Glass!

Jays222 Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Okay... who's telling the truth? http://www.tsn.ca/mlb/article/report-jays-pompey-back-on-60-day-dl-1.808408 Looks like Jim is right. I saw the headline a couple hours ago that said "back on 60 day DL."
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Okay... who's telling the truth? Dalton Pompey (concussion, leg) has been pulled off his minor league rehab assignment. Pompey batted .143/.172/.250 in eight rehab games between High-A Dunedin and Triple-A Buffalo just before the MLB All-Star break. He hasn't played anywhere in the last 10 days, and there is no clear timetable for his return to live action. The 24-year-old outfielder has been on the major league disabled list all season after suffering a serious head injury in the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Phantom injury, smart. I mean it's there, but likely all season he's had the nag..
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Phantom injury, smart. I mean it's there, but likely all season he's had the nag.. You could see him grabbing at it a few times last night. I'm actually more worried about his shoulder.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 When Salazar Ks the side in an inning that including 8 fastballs down the middle...not looking good for us offensively
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 I haven't been watching much lately (not at all really). I hadn't realized how bad Belliveau had been. Not that long ago it seemed like they might have something in him. Not a lot is going right.

Was even striking guys out... but when he imploded he really imploded.
