Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Tim Beckham isn't having a breakout season lol.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Good thing Houston's hitting--because they have a problem with their pitching depth. McCullers is back on the DL (lower back), joining Keuchel, McHugh and Morton. How ths team is 12 up on the Angels is shocking--sooner or later, they're going to get exposed..

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Tim Beckham isn't having a breakout season lol. Neither is Gordon Beckham (also a 2008 first round pick)
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Did Tyler Flowers work out with Smoak this offseason? jesus.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Tim Beckham isn't having a breakout season lol. Believe me - I think Tim Beckham sucks, but he is on pace for a 3.5+ WAR season (thanks to a .394 BABIP). Edit - Just realised Logan Morrison and Souza have also been fantastic for the Rays this year (and Corey Dick of course)

Bad players are good now.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Damn, Strasburg's gettng lit up... 3-0 Braves already.. and with that shoddy bullpen, the Nats can't afford to see a starter struggle..

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 **** Rick Porcello... getting freaking lit up by the worst team in baseball! 3-0 already...
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 **** Rick Porcello... getting freaking lit up by the worst team in baseball! 3-0 already... Make that 4-0
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Wow, do the Orioles suck! White Sox are jumping all over Wade Miley.. 5-0! Ubaldo warming up.. and we'll likely see former Blue Jay Miguel Castro and his flat 100 mph fastball that gets destroyed later.. what a pathetic org. the O's are!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Astros players are going down like flies--Reddick is out now with a concussion! Good thing they have a huge lead in the AL West...
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Holy, the O's are very bad... 4 GIDPs tonight! They're making the White Sox pitching look really good when it isn't... PS: Chris Davis got injured.. and now Seth Smith just committed an awful error in RF...
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Lol Washington came back. Albers just served up a 3-run jack to Flowers.. Braves now lead 11-9!
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Poor Nats. Just got a face full of Flower power. The Nats really need bullpen help
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Miguel Castro into the game for the O's... if the O's couldn't sink any lower..
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Miguel Castro into the game for the O's... if the O's couldn't sink any lower.. The O's speak pretty highly of him, and have said they want to give him the development time he missed to work on his stuff, but then they keep going and calling him up.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 BTW, the White Sox broadcast team is absolutely idiotic.. someone please get these guys links to Rotoworld, MLBTradeRumors, etc...

If getting torched in AA is supposed to be development.. O's are doing a crappy job. Davidson just went deep off of him. Is it a wonder the Rockies and Blue Jays gave up on him? He'll be DFAed soon when the O's need to get YET another fresh arm.. as the bullpen will be toast again after Jimenez was forced to throw 3.2 IP of relief..and Castro is going to force the O's to use another arm tonight as he's crapping the bed..

You're reacting like I said he was good lol Castro is a good example of a thrower who hasn't developed into a pitcher.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Former Yankees prospect Jose Pirela all of the sudden is hitting crazy for the Padres this season. Had crazy AAA numbers too. Is he legit or nah? Another multi hit night
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Red Sox are making winning hard on themselves by struggling to score vs. the last place Phillies--11th inning and still tied at 5, and threatening to tax the bullpen already drained from the Pomeranz disaster and facing Brian Johnson pitching in this series..
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 BTW, the White Sox broadcast team is absolutely idiotic.. someone please get these guys links to Rotoworld, MLBTradeRumors, etc... Do you update Rotoworld? It would make sense?!

Sox win.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Sox win. As they should vs. dreck like the Phillies. But draining the pen will affect them the rest of the week...
