Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 f*** sakes, people need to stop being a bunch of f***ing magpies. It's just a f***ing foul ball. It's not as bad as you guys make it out to be. He stands up as the ball approaches and just loses his balance. I expected to see some over zelous loser pushing people out of the way and leaning over to catch it
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Orioles lose again. 3-11 now in their last 14 and threatening to reopen the AL wild card race wide open.. Jays are only 3.5 out now after they beat Texas tonight..
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Did anyone see Souza Jr's diving catch attempt tonight? So hilarious, he came up a good 20 feet short!

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 I'm trying to watch this Mariners versus Red Sox game but I just can't. Dennis Eckersley is legitimately unbearable.

Watch the Seattle feed. You aren't missing much. Mariners can't touch Brian Johnson and are behind 5-0 now. Casey Lawrence in for the M's now and struck out the first 2 batters he faced.

The guy who does the Mariners' PBP sounds like that obnoxious, creepy, bald uncle that people go out of their way to avoid at family gatherings.

His voice and mannerisms always struck me as some old, fat, European looking dude. I was actually shocked to find out he was a black guy.
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Chase Anderson with a no-hit bid through 7. At 111 pitches tho so he may be taken out soon unless the Brewers are dumn and blow his arm out.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 CG shutout for Brian Johnson in his third major league start
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 CG shutout for Brian Johnson in his third major league start Of course, I bench him in LOD thinking he'll get destroyed by the Mariners' offense and he pitches a gem. FFS
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Of course, I bench him in LOD thinking he'll get destroyed by the Mariners' offense and he pitches a gem. FFS This is why you're last in your division. Yeah, yeah, so am I.....
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Of course, I bench him in LOD thinking he'll get destroyed by the Mariners' offense and he pitches a gem. FFSWhy would you do that? The Mariners have been a disgustingly bad offense for a decade now and nothing has changed.
nextyear Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 The Baltimore Orioles are falling like a stone in the standings. They are on the verge of losing their 6th in a row to the Twins. The Blue Jays will probably be only 3 games behind Baltimore after tonight; who would of thought that was possible, a month ago.

They're playing the Astros.

And with the O's upcoming sked with the Yankees and Red Sox, the Jays (and Tampa) could be ahead of Baltimore within a week or two.. the Orioles are a mess. And Jones is hurt now too...
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 You would think with all the working class players on this Orioles team they could score more then two runs per game
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 You would think with all the working class players on this Orioles team they could score more then two runs per game Machado hitting .225 isn't helping--wondering if he wants out of Baltimore. A crappy pitching staff isn't helping.. with only one above average starter (Bundy) and a load of crap.
nextyear Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 They're playing the Astros. Yes, the Astros. Senility is catching up with me. In any case, the Orioles lost.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Speaking of disappointments, try Cleveland! 24-23, 3 games out of first, trailing the O's for a wild card, WORST home record in the AL (only Miami has fewer wins--and the Padres have more wins at home than Cleveland). And talk is Salazar is headed for the bullpen.. In addition, regression has hit this team HARD. Kipnis, Jose Ramirez, others have regressed, Bauer/Tomlin/Salazar have been terrible, Edwin's been not worth the $20M he's getting..

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Judge just ruled Triggs guilty of throwing a bad pitch--grand slam! 5-2 Yankees..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Twins/Astros coming up tomorrow--did anyone think this was a series vs. 1st place team that was going to happen? Of course, Houston may destroy the Twins.. Minnesota is going to have a worn-down bullpen for the series, as the Twins are in extras vs. Tampa...
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Astros are looking forward to sweeping the Twins this week.. as Minnesota's pitching staff continues to have to keep a game tied. 15th inning, 6-6 vs. Tampa..

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 David Price starting for the first time this season 2 PM ET at White Sox After 2 bad rehab starts
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 lol Well, it was the best I can do regarding Aaron Judge--he's already a ROY candidate and pushing Mike Trout for the MVP(3.5 WAR for Trout, 3.0 for Judge)..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 David Price starting for the first time this season 2 PM ET at White Sox After 2 bad rehab starts And against a White Sox team that has been surprisingly capable offensively.. kinda wish they had called up Moncada for this series though to spite the Red Sox. Maybe next time they see them later this season.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Also Yankees play early vs struggling Orioles
