AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 The real secret of the Steve Delabar velocity training program: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/former-blue-jays-pitcher-steve-delabar-suspended-80-games/ If my kid was in this, I'd be pulling him out right now, and demanding a refund.

The 28-year-old right-hander, on the roster of Cleveland’s Triple-A team in Columbus Does Sportsnet even try?

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Nah he'll regress for sure. The question now is how much. I think he is at least a ,900 OPS hitter but if the pitchers don't find a hole in his swing the sky is the limit for him. Both HR's last night were on off speed pitches. Stop throwing him those - bring the high heat. Pitchers will adjust.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Cody B time Is he taking over for Pederson in CF?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Is he taking over for Pederson in CF? Gonzalez, I'd imagine
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Is he taking over for Pederson in CF? He will play an OF role. Pederson placed on DL today
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Assuming he will play LF and they will platoon Kike and Toles in CF.

Laika Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Should I trade him in my dynasty league? probably, if someone will value him as a top 100 player

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Altuve and Teoscar Hernandez got into a collision... considering Marisinick is already out with a concussion, this would be hard on the Astros OF depth if he ends up on the DL, and more difficult if Altuve is out...
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Mariners can't catch a break--Mitch Haniger is now hurt, with an oblique strain, and looks DL bound.. not to mention King Felix was awful.

We can trade them Carrera and Bautista for a bag of balls and Martes
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 We can trade them Carrera and Bautista for a bag of balls and Martes More likely they'll just call up Tony Kemp, Preston Tucker or Andrew Aplin (all are on the 40). More concerning is Altuve.. like Donaldson with the Jays, he is the one player Houston cannot afford to lose for any period of time..

King Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Pfft, stupidly posting this in the GDT first... https://www.theplayerstribune.com/yonder-alonso-athletics-letter-to-my-younger-self/ I like hearing from the players in their own words. And Yonder Alonsos sister ended up marrying Manny Machado.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Thames just hit #11This is just comical at this point. I really wish I'd been able to grab him in one of the board leagues.
