ChrisS Verified Member Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Boston came back and pulled ahead but Detroit has taken the lead again.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 How does joe kelly have an active 13 game winning streak? He can't locate at all. Joe Kelly looked elite out of the pen the last time I saw him.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Joe Kelly's chances of being the setup to Kimbrel took a big blow today.. and the Sox badly need Thornburg back. Though the Tigers bullpen was bad too...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 F'n Red Sox offense is nuts Score 5 in the 8th to take the lead Thank F their bullpen still found a way to lose
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 How does joe kelly have an active 13 game winning streak? He can't locate at all. Dat run support And luck
Ray Verified Member Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Orioles get Miguel Castro Surpriseed he made it that far down the waiver claims.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Giants bullpen blows another game.. vs. the Padres this time, with George Kontos being the victim this time..
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Couple of interesting articles http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/what-on-earth-happened-with-jake-arrieta/ I wanted to ask: 1. Has Arrieta always thrown across his body THAT much? Maybe it's the angle, but I never thought it was that pronounced. 2. Did I miss the discussion on the new way they are measuring velocity this year? I caught (and participated) in discussions on how everyone (except Greinke) on the Diamondbacks is throwing harder this year and Kendell Graveman's velocity spike was discussed, yet I didn't see anything about how it's measured differently this year and thus all increases in velocity should be taken with a grain of salt. http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/just-a-bit-outside/story/how-the-cutter-grip-can-affect-arm-strength-bumgarner-ottavino-rivera-042015 I never knew some organizations have banned the use of cut fastballs - including Baltimore. Bump. Discuss.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 The O's are going to be good again. It's that roach that refuses to die. Hate them so much.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Scott Carson blocked me on Twitter because I pointed out the irony of a "stats guy" reporting the Rays 50/50 draw being $121 prize when it was really $6,581 (but being close counts for statisticians right).

Sounds like you hurt his fee fee's.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 So that sickness bug that has been harassing the Red Sox since ST has now claimed Kelly. And Ramirez has influenza lol
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 The O's are going to be good again. It's that roach that refuses to die. Hate them so much. Look at their bullpen and how brilliantly it is assembled. Now remember, 2 of our 3 losses belong to our bullpen.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 So Dickey gives his team the lead with a bases loaded single to score two. Bottom half of the inning, he immediately gives up the lead and now he's walked the bases loaded. Classic RA Dickey.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 The Phillies have sent 16 men to the plate in the first inning against the Nats; winning 12-0.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 0 HR too, weird s***. can't be killing those rallies
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Jeremy Guthrie's line from today: 0.2 IP, 0 K, 4 BB, 6 H, 10 ER Season ERA sitting at a cozy 135.00.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Break up the D-Backs! THey're beating Cleveland again.. and Edwin's batting .158 right now.. maybe Arizona is winning because they actually have a competent manager now in Louvollo, who really should be managing the Red Sox right now instead of Farrell...
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Sounds like you hurt his fee fee's. Sounds like ur a 5 year old. Time to grow up Spanks.

Seriously, you're stating 3-5 game in numbers?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Sounds like ur a 5 year old. Time to grow up Spanks. Sounds like I don't see what you're getting at? Edit: It was the Mod that presented the issue, and you're specifically posting towards me? Brings me to the fact, you're an idiot.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Seriously, you're stating 3-5 game in numbers? Yes, it's a small sample size--but the D-Backs are doing a good job playing against a potential WOrld Series contender in Cleveland.. plus, Arizona has quite a bit of young talent, along with Goldschmidt. BTW, the GIants are starting very poorly.. can't even beat San Diego, with the problems with pitching from last season continuing.. and none of their LF can hit..
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Mookie Betts as well. at this point its hilarious
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 at this point its hilarious The PBP guy left mid-game... that's rough man.
