Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 He seems like a huge dbag from what i've seen of him on twitter, etc. Could be, there would have to be something not all there to ask the yankees of all teams something like that.
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Yankees denying that the Frazier/Mantle thing ever happened.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Didn't he ask that Fitness chick out when he was traded to NY, the Ass Girl? Plus, I think he had to have been joking to ask to wear Mantle's jersey number. You can't do that Spank. Pictures mandatory for this type of post.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I'm not the only one, Franklin actually has upside with the bat and can play any position in a pinch, Goins is glove only and redundant to Barney's skillset. yeah but can he pitch in a pinch? #goinsforever

GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 It might be the result of a grip change, any info on his new fastball movement with respect to last years? You don't change an FB grip and gain 5 mph lol

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Jays aren't the only one not scoring--Red Sox are ruining Sale's gem by not scoring any runs..0-0 in the 9th. Did I also forget to mention Sox fans are starting to treat Moreland like Smoak? Bad sign..
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Reds pull Finnegan in the top of the 8th with a 1 hitter and just 88 pitches. I feel this is an underrated good move that is going to end up looking bad as Lorenzen has given up back to back infield singles.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 And Benintendi can't win it for the Sox as he fails to produce with the bases loaded--on to the 11th.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 wrong wrong on the game...or that it was a good move? I like the back end of Reds pen. Not really how often they will be in with leads but get Storen out of there and Cingrani, Lorenzen and Iglesias could be really good.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 0-0 marathon going on at Fenway. MLB Extra Innings (pay per view) is free as part of a promo. Not sure how long the promo will last though but i think i recall it lasting roughly two weeks from previous years.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Sox win on a Sandy Leon 3-run shot---really? Sandy Leon? A guy who has no business being on an MLB roster and is blocking Blake Swihart, who should be playing every day at the MLB level?

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Sam Dyson is imploding yet again--Indians have loaded the bases and are threatening to tie the game or take the lead.. Rangers are really having trouble with their pitching. And now Lindor with a grand slam! What's your bet Jeffress will be the closer by next game?

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Right now, I'm just glad the Jays are pitching well enough to win but just need to hit.. then there's losing by bad pitching, which the Rangers have done a lot of in this series. 21 runs given up by Rangers pitching, notably by Sam Dyson.. And the Royals so far.. ugh.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Rangers lose. 0-3 to start the season. 2nd worst pitching in the AL (Royals are worse). And I don't expect Sam Dyson to be closing for Texas next game after blowing 2 games.
Ray Verified Member Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Indians look great early on in the season.
