I like Price and all, but I can't help but laugh at the utter incompetence of Dave Dumnbrowski at this point. It must be so hard to be a GM of a team where you can just throw money at all your problems.

If that happens I suspect the amount of people simultaneously mashing "SEE!?!" would break the internet.

Although he might be the one that does not have any injury and people are left to say What the f*** lol

You take Price out of the picture, Honestly they still have the better team but its very close. Very Close.

Take Price out and the AL East is wide open.. he's not the only pitcher in Boston with injury risk, with Sale (elbow injury risk due to delivery), Pomeranz (elbow), Wright (elbow due to pinch-running) and E-Rod (knee). Losing Price would be devastating to Boston.. there's basically nothing to AAA to replace him, and Boston lacks assets to make a trade for a guy like Quintana, as their farm was drained by Sale and Thornburg's deals.

For these big 7 year deals more teams should add in that Lackey provision where if the pitcher misses a year he has to pitch another one for basically free.

Will he even be a major league pitcher by then? The Lackey example is funny because they ended up with a horrible pitcher in Kelly and a bad contract in the minors.

Andrew Cashner down with a bicep injury. Do the Rangers have anything notable past Hamels and Yu? I've heard Dyson is hurting too, but I don't know if that's serious. Obviously Diekman is out for 2017 too.

Martin Perez, AJ Griffin, Tyson Ross, Nick Martinez, Chi-Chi Poozalez, Yohander Mendez.

Griffin, Martinez, and Chi-Chi are awful. Ross is who knows. Perez is pretty gross but he's a big league SP.

YOHANDER is the name to watch.

Oh s***! Could there be a Jays reunion? Can Devin Travis stay healthy? Will we see big head Goins/Barney out there too much this season? Stay tuned for the next episode of Blue Jay's Drama.

Remember that first year? 2.6 WAR in 171 PAs.

That offseason was fun to dream on.

Packaged him for Kershaw in a keeper league that off-season. Good times.

Jays should absolutely sign Lawrie to a minor league deal with Travis questions and Donaldson's health just makes a lot of sense. Get rid of Goins once and for all.

Lawrie would likely have better opportunities elsewhere rather than signing with us and hoping for injuries to get playing time.

This.... I am sure there are teams whose lineups look bleak and are willing to give Lawrie a chance. He comes here i don't even know if i would put him ahead of Barney at the moment.

Agreed. I'd want him back, but unless he's seriously injured then I'm assuming he had a dispute about playing time with Chicago.

I'd definitely have him back as a 2b/3b reserve. I'm fine with Barney as a back-up SS.
