The process will change over the next five years so that when Papi is voted in, no one will throw a stink about it.

Her Logic behind it seems rather flawed to me, other then hating the man himself!

I just would love to see their process of deciding who juiced and who didn't. There's a 99.9999% chance she's already voted for a PED user.

Not a fan of Bud Selig, but he never used steroids, and as far as I know, never encouraged anyone to use them.

This logic is asinine. Also, why are we letting women vote on HOF?

Are you at all familiar with Selig's history in baseball?

I always find it weird how people care so much about PEDs in baseball but not other sports. In the NFL guys are suspended all the time for PEDs and no one really cares, just when that player will be back in the lineup.

No one gets caught in the NBA but I wouldn't be surprised at all if a lot of these guys were taking something and the NBA turning a blind eye. They play so many games in such a physically demanding sport that I don't think anyone would blame them. Plus look at the size of these players..

Government in mid 2000's needed a distraction from their other s*** they had going on. They chose steroids and baseball noting the outrage backlash against Ben Johnson and sprinters who were caught. The lies that were spread about steroids in govt. based documents were ridiculous. Baseball was America's game, drugs are bad...it was easy to get fans going. Even the way they were forced in the congressional hearings to call it "The Illegal use of steroids in Baseball" The Hooten and Garibaldi families blaming steroids for their kids suicides and using that as evidence was hilarious (while there is a lack of testosterone when one comes off steroids as those two did...there easily could have been a CTE link to these kids, and Garibaldi was actually drinking heavily through his steroid use).

Media and govt. together on cause can be a dangerous thing...they got to baseball fans. Not sure why it didn't follow to other sports but there are still people saying that Concussions are not a football/sports issue.

I really don't think it is, knowing Adamgreenwood

#1 rule about Greenwood: he loves being a contrarian. #2: He loves subtle trolling. He's the best troll on this board, but he's so subtle that no one notices.
