Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 This is going to be a spectacular meltdown.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Does Chapman have 2 2/3 in him? we're about to find out. I like it - if you're going to lose - lose with your best.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Carl Edward Jr.'s fastball is really explosive out of his hand, it probably looks harder than the 95-96 that shows up on the radar gun.

I don't think there's any chance that Chapman pitches over 2 innings, unless the pitch count is absurdly low. Strop and Rondon will be ready, and they are great options in their own right.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Bro that's unfair, he opened with an 85 mph filthy slider.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 The Brandon Guyer show is back at it again.
ChrisS Verified Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Imagine if Perez hits one out here
baubau Verified Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 If Perez HR's, he will instill a new 100+ year curse on the Cubbies
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 That wasn't a 102 MPH breaking ball Buck. Lay off the booze.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 What a pick, that's probably super fluky but damn.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 What a pick, that's probably super fluky but damn. probably?

Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Why are they showing Bill Murray the whole time?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 probably? I mean he's a big league catcher after all. He made a terrible play earlier but it takes a great amount of skill to catch an Aroldis Chapman fastball when he misses his spot, so I can attribute a lot of that pick to Contreras' skill.

dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I've heard enough of Eddie Vedder on the radio for a lifetime and now he's ruining baseball
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Why are they showing Bill Murray the whole time? KCCO I guess. He's super hip/trendy right now.

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 How does Chapman let that happen? It's the World Series dude.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I love all the distracting of pitchers. It's like mild harassment.
baubau Verified Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Damn, Kipnis getting fooled by Chapman. 2 straight swings at balls outside the zone.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 2 minutes in between pitches it seems
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Davis was never this good with the jays
