FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 For the Jays: J.A. Happ, LHP Happ is coming off a win over the Rangers in which he permitted one run over five innings. He’ll look to keep rolling against the Indians, who he beat during the regular season with 11 strikeouts over seven innings in his only start against them. Lineup: (should be) Zeke Josh Edwin Jose Tulo Martin Saunders Pillar Goins For the Indians: Josh Tomlin, RHP Tomlin was the winning pitcher in Cleveland’s ALDS-clinching Game 3 victory, his first postseason appearance. He faced Toronto twice this season and was tagged for seven runs over 10 1/3 innings, giving up four home runs.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 No Diaz, No Problem I thought I was gonna make the next GDT after you lose?
admin Site Manager Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Rather see Stroman on the road than Happ.
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 Series bro, series... one game does not make a series.
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 Rather see Stroman on the road than Happ. Really? Lefty heavy lineup versus our ace lefty. I like Stro at home for the extra 'juice'.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 I thought I was gonna make the next GDT after you lose? Do it anyway?
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Do it anyway? f*** ya this guy sucks delete this GDT pls really let us down today
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 f*** ya this guy sucks delete this GDT pls really let us down today Hey bro, it was 7 in a row to get here, go f*** yourself rookie
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Do it anyway? x2 FrozenRopes acts like he runs the show here
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Really? Lefty heavy lineup versus our ace lefty. I like Stro at home for the extra 'juice'. Stroman dominated them on the road just like Happ, but you can't go wrong with either of them.

BigRed Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 can we just trade Travis for a bag of Doritos? f***ing useless.
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 x2 FrozenRopes acts like he runs the show here WTF are you talking about? It wasnt me who said to do the entire series, it was someone who had an opinion more valid and appreciated than yours. I dont care if I do it, just remember, you will habe jinxed the team.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 can we just trade Travis for a bag of Doritos? f***ing useless. Fangraphs results over a full season. But you're right let's sell him for goat s***..
King Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Fangraphs projections over a full season. But you're right let's sell him for goat s***.. Those are his career numbers. Not fangraphs projections.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Those are his career numbers. Not fangraphs projections. So, even better?
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Stating the obvious but a big game today - hopefully we score early so the GDT isn't quite as bad to read as yesterday. 7 games is a long series - stay positive!
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Martin and Saunders have horrible numbers vs Tomlin. I would go with this lineup. Carrera Donaldson Edwin Bautista Tulo Pillar Upton Barney/Travis/Goins Martin
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Tomlin sucks. A couple good games to end the season, but his general body of work is awful. Doesn't strikeout much, gives up a lot of HRs & high SLG%, s*** against righties, worst at home. Half his games his FIP was over 5. He wouldn't even make the Jays 40 man roster.

If we dont hit with runners in scoring position, if we dont defend properly and if we dont hit at all it wont matter who they run out there. With that said, I expect a better umpire performance allowing the jays to make tomlin come them. Prediction: 6-1 Jays
admin Site Manager Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Need this one today. Split it and we're in a very good position.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 1-1 heading back to Toronto would be fine with me. Jays were facing Kluber, but now the match-ups favor them considerably. Time to take advantage.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 If we can't pummel Tomlin then our offense is back to s***, so I hope the logical scenario takes place.

Prediction: 6-1 Jays That was one game against one of the best pitchers in baseball, no reason to believe that trend will continue into the next three games.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 We got this one I hope so This year feels way worse than last year if we lose the first 2 on the road.
