King Felix suxxxx so Sanchez will easily win that battle on Wednesday. The Orioles will take the next two from Boston and the division will be back within reach!

AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 last year was like a world series win for the jays Yeah, filled the playoff baseball quota for the next 20 years.

Governator Community Moderator Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 The implosion continues. Even Rogers sees the writing on the wall by broadcasting 5 channels of puck chasing and one of the Jays...... Who cares, they have 5 channels, use them. Also, they don't play until 10PM, they should have something better than 30 best baseball plays on repeat for 3 hours instead on their main channels anyway.

Not every one lives in the centre of the universes time zone and so it really was 7pm........
puphood Verified Member Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 The difference in the Jays playoff odds from yesterday have gone up 11.4% because of this last win.......however the same odds makers took the jays to destroy the Angels...
Waylanderz Verified Member Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 This is one thread I can definitely stand behind.
SweetSmellingChacin Verified Member Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 The Jays 3 runs scored yesterday is tied for their 7th highest scoring game of the month. #progress #explotion

Could only find American stats but you get the picture, Eastern Time Zone for the win. Eastern Standard Time Zone: 150.2 million (47.1%) Central Standard Time Zone: 92.3 million (29.0%) Mountain Standard Time Zone: 21.3 million (6.7%) Pacific Standard Time Zone: 53.0 million (16.6%)

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 the ship is sinking play for yourselves It's almost like Boston never took a 4 game division lead.
43211234 Verified Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 All that matters is getting that division lead down to 3 games going into Boston to finish the season. The sweep will happen!

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 We need to get to the last series. Just make the Redsox clinch it then. That is the key. They might succumb to pressure
CBlake Verified Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Game 163 in Toronto would be real cool. Way better than a f***ing wild card game. At what point would the Jays even dare selling game 163 tickets regardless of who it was against and what it was for? I can't imagine they would wait til the Sunday night when all the games are in the books.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 So if we are three down, go into Fenway for the last series and sweep them Game 163 will be in Toronto?
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 So if we are three down, go into Fenway for the last series and sweep them Game 163 will be in Toronto? Yes because our head to head record would be better. Only way we would play in fenway is if Boston loses a bunch to other teams but still beats the jays.
puphood Verified Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Boston and Toronto are 8 and 8 so far this season. Boston's number to clinch the division is 8. Buchholz vs Jimenez tonight Price vs Tillman tomorrow......
SweetSmellingChacin Verified Member Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Sox magic number to clinch is 8. If the Jays win today and win every other series left (3/4 vs Yanks, 2/3 vs Os, 2/3 vs Sox) that would give the Jays 91 wins. The Sox would need to go 5-6 to stay ahead. If the Jays close the season 11-0, Sox would need to go 8-3 to stay ahead of the Jays. If the Jays go 6-5 the rest of the season, Sox would need to go 3-8 to stay ahead of the Jays.
