jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 enjoy first boston, jays rolled out that red carpet for ya Let's actually wait until Boston finishes playing San Diego before doing that.. Someone needs to take the fall for this 3-6 road trip.. we can't afford losses like this.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 SD still only losing by one, maybe they can win one for us... Maybe....
Blue Jays Molly Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 This is some of the worst baseball I've ever seen. I don't even know if red wine will fix me...

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Hey the pitcher Cozart got a hit! Bloop and a blast?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Suddenly, the Yankees are threatening for the division instead of just a wild card. And they've still got many games vs. the Red Sox..
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 With rhe the no name pitcher and out hitting lately, is there an over under on 3 hits? Should have taken the over with 5 hits.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 I don't even really care about out of town scoreboards right now. The problem lies with the Jays vs. anyone else. They could've seized a healthy lead given the hiccups the A's and Padres have given the Red Sox. Instead they go 1-5 against the f***ing Rays and patch job Yankees. What the actual f***...
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 The Padres WILL WIN tonight and the Blue Jays will still be in first! It's in the bag!!!!!
el duque Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Gregg nailed, the direction of this team is not capable of making adjustments and aims to swing the bat for big scores every game. That strategy is the worst for close games facing good pitching. Tt is time the Blue Jays move out of Gibbons era

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Back to back hits, beauty swing by Jon Jay!!!
TheGrandslamMan Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Does anyone understand why the Jays are letting Upton Jr play such a significant roll on the roster? I'd rather see Carerra get another shot or have Pompey see some action. Melvin Uptons bat speed is terribly slow. I'd only let him start if there's a starter who tops out in the 92-93 MPH range and not let him face any fireballers in the late innings unless we have a big lead.

He's not the one putting all of the players in a slump precisely when they should be rearing to go.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Tie game. Price is not looking that great tonight vs. this Padres team..

Never understand the arguement "hopefully xxx loses so we don't lose any ground." We blew numerous chances against teams we should easily beat, to pull ahead. Sure we may not lose ground, but playing terrible like this can come back to haunt us when we lose the division or WC by a game.

And they've still got many games vs. the Red Sox.. Kinda comical isn't it? I wonder if the fans are now outraged about the fact that they got rid of Miller and Chapman... Beltran is kinda defensible cause they have so many young guys knocking on the door, but it seems like they threw in the towel too soon.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 2-2 with a runner still at 2B for SD!!!!
