Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 This team is truly pathetic
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Pretty s***** team atm, hopefully things change before it's too late.

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Hard to believe this team is still tied for first. Such motherf***ing garbage.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Why is this Gibbons' fault? lol Thanks for solidfying my point Biggest compliment "Its not Gibbons fault" Was Joe Madden hitting when he turned the Tampa franchise around or was that just coincidence cause he wasnt swinging the bat Lol using that logic Gibbons lead this team to it's first playoff appearance in 22 years. What a stud.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Time to bump the fire Brook Jacoby thread

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 You guys are telling me this team is good enough to make the playoffs?
43211234 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 This nightmare roadtrip can't end soon enough.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 It's 270 and more importantly it's 270 with a putrid 353 SLG. It's basically all singles. Projects to like 230 to 250 avg in the minors with some walks and little else. I'm sorry but projections are a bunch of bs imo. Did the projections have our offense falling off a cliff against AAA pitchers...no. I'd take .270 with all singles over the offense we are seeing.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Hard to believe this team is still tied for first. Would have to look at their run differential, but it definitely seems like they're overachieving.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 You guys are telling me this team is good enough to make the playoffs? "Can't win every f***ing game" RELAX

Complete crap....how is that logical..Gibbons has an all star team out there playing ever day Madden had a mirror image Buffalo Bisons
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Would have to look at their run differential, but it definitely seems like they're overachieving. No they are right where they should be generally in terms of run diff, but for the last month and a week there has been no consistency in the offence whatsoever. It's like there's no fire lit and they're running on smouldering embers.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 "Can't win every f***ing game" RELAX Don't tell me what to do.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 "Can't win every f***ing game" RELAX Idk what the f*** you are doing with this, but they sure as hell can and should win more than 1 in 6.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 This team better win some f***ing games at home cause im dreading that west coast trip.

I get that you're frustrated with the offense but you're reaching for an answer that's just not there. This is similar to people carping for Jesus Montero. Their is no saviour. It's up to these guys to turn it around. That's the best and only shot.
TheGrandslamMan Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Is everyone still assured that this team will for sure make the playoffs? They're ice cold at literally the worst time with a few teams breathing down their necks.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Is everyone still assured that this team will for sure make the playoffs? They're ice cold at literally the worst time with a few teams breathing down their necks. Certainly not, and it's totally depressing.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Anyone who doesnt believe Gibbons needs to be fired is dreadfully lost. A man who's biggest compliment as a manger is that "he didnt lose the game for the jays" how bout a major league manager that helps to win games. How bout a manager who wasnt sitting at home begging to be hired as a waterboy by AA and was shocked when offered a mangerial position. What a total waste of an all star team on paper. Explain to me...If Gibbons was even below average why was he siting at home with no job. Why has he never managed another club? What would Cleveland's record be with Gibbons managing a team with a tenth of the talent of the jays. What if the Jays had Francona? This feels much like another sinking ship. Who will be writing on the board this time? http://www.lovethisgif.com/uploaded_images/12764-Baby-Crying-Animated-Gif.gif
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Is everyone still assured that this team will for sure make the playoffs? They're ice cold at literally the worst time with a few teams breathing down their necks. No nothing is guaranteed. We could easily be out of a playoff spot as early as Sunday.

I don't even see any rage after their s***** ABs. They all just look stone faced and walk back on to the field as if nothing happened lol. No fire.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 http://www.lovethisgif.com/uploaded_images/12764-Baby-Crying-Animated-Gif.gif Lmao
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 This isn't nearly as big a deficit as yesterday and the Jays nearly came back from that. The pessimism is irrational.
