It's 270 and more importantly it's 270 with a putrid 353 SLG. It's basically all singles. Projects to like 230 to 250 avg in the minors with some walks and little else.

 

I'm sorry but projections are a bunch of bs imo. Did the projections have our offense falling off a cliff against AAA pitchers...no. I'd take .270 with all singles over the offense we are seeing.

Would have to look at their run differential, but it definitely seems like they're overachieving.

No they are right where they should be generally in terms of run diff, but for the last month and a week there has been no consistency in the offence whatsoever. It's like there's no fire lit and they're running on smouldering embers.

I get that you're frustrated with the offense but you're reaching for an answer that's just not there. This is similar to people carping for Jesus Montero. Their is no saviour. It's up to these guys to turn it around. That's the best and only shot.

Anyone who doesnt believe Gibbons needs to be fired is dreadfully lost. A man who's biggest compliment as a manger is that "he didnt lose the game for the jays" how bout a major league manager that helps to win games. How bout a manager who wasnt sitting at home begging to be hired as a waterboy by AA and was shocked when offered a mangerial position. What a total waste of an all star team on paper.

 

Explain to me...If Gibbons was even below average why was he siting at home with no job. Why has he never managed another club?

 

What would Cleveland's record be with Gibbons managing a team with a tenth of the talent of the jays.

 

What if the Jays had Francona?

 

This feels much like another sinking ship. Who will be writing on the board this time?

No nothing is guaranteed. We could easily be out of a playoff spot as early as Sunday.

Yep. It's hard to quantify stuff like that but they look like they're coasting. I don't even see any rage after their s***** ABs. They all just look stone faced and walk back on to the field as if nothing happened lol. No fire.
