Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Really? Aaron is having a Cy Young type season while Gary has been in the bigs for less than a month. Let's see what happens when the league adjusts to Gary. Aaron has already adjusted to the adjustments and is still performing great. Aaron carries significantly more risk being a pitcher. Gary is at least a plus defensive catcher, framing included, with potential to be a consistent above-average hitter if not better, those guys are simply much more scarce and have less risk than a high velocity pitcher.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 And game over Thanks Dickey
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 This should be Dickey's last start in a Jays uniform
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Well, at least Tanaka's start is out of the way.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 And game over Thanks Dickey Since it's over you can leave now.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I really really hate watching RA Dickey pitch. It's the most uncomfortable experience in the entire universe.
Blue Jays Molly Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Dickey is just awful. He's got this annoying, deflating presence that I'm sure his teammates feel as well.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 He deserves to have his head shaved.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Dickey blows, Tholes even worse. Just get them both our of here
el duque Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I can't watch this anymore I am going for a run and see later when Dickey is not pitching if we have a better chance
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I really really hate watching RA Dickey pitch. It's the most uncomfortable experience in the entire universe. We can only hope this is the last time
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Hey Grant, tell us more about how it's common for pitchers to struggle in the first inning and then settle down after that. Dickey is a prime example of that for sure.
Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Zaun is right about thole.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I'm confused, Zaun said Thole should not be allowed to swing the bat with a runner on base and none out. Then he says he needs to advance the runner. It's hard to have both and you can't expect him to bunt.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Dickey is just awful. He's got this annoying, deflating presence that I'm sure his teammates feel as well. There's a reason his run support is so low. It can't all be a coincidence, this is a game with people after all.

Governator Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 It's going to be 5-4 after this inning.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 He deserves to have his head shaved. Hey hey lol, leave the hair out of this.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I really really hate watching RA Dickey pitch. It's the most uncomfortable experience in the entire universe. But he had a clean second inning! He had a rough first like most pitchers, Dickey will settle down soon!

Blue Jays Molly Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 There's a reason his run support is so low. It can't all be a coincidence, this is a game with people after all. Yeah. As irrational as it may be, that's sort of how I feel as well.

Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Keep the line moving. Big inning
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 He was advocating for Thole to bunt. I think he should just stand there and literally do nothing.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 But he had a clean second inning! He had a rough first like most pitchers, Dickey will settle down soon! Grant deserves to be mocked for this until the end of time.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 walk single and a blast. Let's do this.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I thought Dickey settled down after the first inning? Something to do with us being reactionary or something?
