gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Because if they try to go for the 3-6-3 double play and it fails, that's a run on the board for your team. You always try and turn two if it's feasible, and it was, especially when it ends the inning.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Getting a couple here would be big

I would have to watch the replay again but I do pretty much agree that the Yankees made a wrong call there. Also was there a chance to step on first and fire home?

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I would have used Betances here. Girardi doesn't even care anymore. He's just using his young guys no matter the consequences.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Awesome! Tie this up Saunders.
