jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 What is Bautista's problem? Making Shapiro's decision easy
BlueJays Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Give Bautista his $150 million
Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Infield hit, we smoke 3 balls right at someone.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Liriano has the mentality as a starter. I don't like him in long relief. Most Gruber thing ever said!
y2j44 Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 This team plays like its manager...dumb...trying to advance to third with 2 outs wuthout being 100000% sure???????
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Thole aside, our hitters are having a great approach at the plate. But then there's Bautista's baserunning adventures and some bad luck with our batted balls. This is to kind. He's potentially cost us 3+ runs already
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Damn why isn't Dickey still pitching? He was just starting to "settle down".
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 This team is frustrating as hell.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Not sure what's worse that or his OF defense. That was f***ing atrocious. I had already made terms with his abysmal defense, but he was at least a semi-competent baserunner once upon a time. He's been terrible this year, costing himself a lot of money.
jiminy Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 This season Bautista a future earnings ihave dropped by millions. He probably didn't care though

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Before any more s*** happens, we should take a moment to appreciate Liriano's pitches to Gary Sanchez. That was pure unfiltered filth.

jiminy Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 If the Yankees had Sanchez the whole year they're probably now fighting for the division

Plat Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I think Gibbons conceded this game by starting Dickey + Thole and sitting Martin and Tulo
Plat Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Well...lets just hope for a O's and Red Sox loss again I guess.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 EE is a better defender than Smoak. Smoak would have went all out for that ground ball and never would have recovered in time to get back to the bag to recieve that throw from Travis.
Blue Jays Molly Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 But... But wilner said that the dickey/Thole combo is better He's so ridiculous, isn't he? Condescending for no reason at all.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 This is to kind. He's potentially cost us 3+ runs already When they got Bautista at home, there was 1 out with EE at first place and Saunders batting. They could have just ended the inning with a super easy 3-6-3 DP. Even though Bautista got out it actually extended the inning giving JD an at bat with 2 on vs leading off next inning.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Doubt he sees it this way. His agent is in for the hardest job in the world this off season. His inevitable move to 1B/DH will be in the minds of other teams too. He's been an awful outfielder for years, now he completely lost his arm, he's an idiot on the basepaths, and his one calling card which is his elite hitting has only produced a less than 15% better than average offense. Good luck to his agent lol.

Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 This road trip after the O's series has been depressing. Offense is back to struggling to score.
jiminy Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Tanaka in full control could pitch a complete game
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Tanaka in full control could pitch a complete game Not with 98 pitches through 6.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 This road trip after the O's series has been depressing. Offense is back to struggling to score. Not after we win the next two
Plat Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Tanaka in full control could pitch a complete game He's already at 98 pitches
jiminy Verified Member Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 With Martin and tulo out and thole in this was a predictable result
