fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Can we rid of him like we did with Storen and Chavez? Liariano can stick pls
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I hope we go to a 5 man rotation without Dickey
Plat Verified Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 horrible...f***er needs to retire after this game
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Just in case there was a throw - as per Tabby.....duh. Tabby is pretty dumb considering he's a former player who actually played for a while.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Dickey did us a big solid in that short handed game, the bats will pick him up tonight.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Tabby is pretty dumb considering he's a former player who actually played for a while. Most of them are.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I am hereby retracting my statement about Dickey going the distance for the complete game. Yeah I think chances for that have slightly diminished
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Tabby is pretty dumb considering he's a former player who actually played for a while. i wonder what you'd say if you hear Kevin Barker!
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I can't understand why Thole is on this team. Love doesn't have to make sense
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 One batter too late despite Dickey basically feeling out the zone all game. Pretty obvious how likely that was going to go south.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Will be interesting to see if they keep Biagini in the pen in 2017 or option him to AAA and have him start.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Dickey did us a big solid in that short handed game, the bats will pick him up tonight. Just like one bad game doesn't (shouldn't) tarnish the reputation of a good pitcher. One good game doesn't stop me wanting Dickey out of Toronto ASAP.
Seanie Verified Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Dickey is too unrealiable (aka he sucks)
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Damn it feels good to watch anyone other than dickey pitch
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Just like one bad game doesn't (shouldn't) tarnish the reputation of a good pitcher. One good game doesn't stop me wanting Dickey out of Toronto ASAP. Oh that's all well and good, I'm just optimistic in regards to this game. I don't think you'll see Dickey back next year, honesty strikes me as the type of guy who would rather retire and enjoy his millions than try to struggle through decline, and I don't mean that as a bad thing.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I can't understand why Thole is on this team. Stop and think for a second on how Dickey changed Thole's life. He has no business being in the MLB, but has made league minimum for three years with the Mets (and here is the kicker) and made $1.25M, $1.25M, $1.75M and $800K from 2013 - 2016 with the Jays. The realistic scenario should be him kicking around in AAA or AA riding the bus while molding young pitching prospects.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Dickey and Liriano both in the rotation is going to be aggravating when they are not on.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Upton going long here 3 pitches long for a K that is
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 i wonder what you'd say if you hear Kevin Barker! Oh i've heard plenty of Barker..
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 The rays offense is better than ours
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Doesnt matter the year, Rays turn elite when facing the jays
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I get the frustration with Dickey, but it's yet another night when he exits the game with the team having a perfectly good chance to win. I realize this short start isn't the best example, but in general that's all we should really ask of a veteran #5 innings eater. Grind out 200 innings and give this deep lineup a chance to win most nights.
