Go f*** yourself okay, my question wasn't directed towards you and I am not looking for a response from you regarding this PM either. I am sick and tired of your online bullying and you have been at me for quite some time. You dont like me, I get it, ignore me. you want to get your friend to permenant ban me, do it. I dont care.

You know I remember you from the old forum. I remember once this guy posted, dont remember what his name was. Habsnjays fan I think, and you told him to commit suicide. You dont take into account people's feelings thats your problem. My guess is that you dont respect people because you dont respect yourself, and you project that negativity out on to others. If i had to guess, I'd say you got problems in your life, so does everyone else, dont direct your personal issues on to here.

You tell me I am on your ignore list, yet you read every one of my posts. They will ban me for this, thats for sure, but I am okay. I dont really care. I rarely posts on here now, because its so boring and uninteresting. Same posters talking the same garbage about WAR. None of them actually understand WAR/Position. They dont consider real life decisions, and dont try to evolve their knowledge.

You need to stop taking things so personally and the fact that you do tells me that you have issues that need to be dealt with. You shouldn't talk to people online the way you do, just because its online doesn't mean there isn't a person on the other end whose feelings wont get hurt. Do you understand? I hope so, and I hope you change the way you deal with things

Good luck.

I hope you're confusing me with somebody. I hope I never told anyone to commit suicide, and if I did I apologize and have grown up since then.

It was really a joke Robert. I'll be sure to leave you alone from now on.

PM warrants a perma ban IMHO.

So would moving Ousana to the Rotation next year require him to pitch some winter ball this year?

Or does he become Shanchez part 2, pitch him to start the year see how he does? Pray by mid season one of SRF or

Jon " Dirty" Harris can be moved to 5th starter?

Does Hutch become the Reliever or Can he be stashed in Buffalo again for Depth?

Not sure if you guys realize this, but the Jays kind of need a closer this year.

In theory it sounds like it makes sense, but on the surface you see how f***ing stupid this would actually be.

This is so dumb. Wow.

Some people just fall in love with the whole "shiny new toys" idea.

Yeah

We need him now. Desperately.

Um, no

This isn't a very good idea.

How is this thread not ban worthy

This is worse than the times you insisted that Aaron Sanchez would be a failure and Adeiny Hechavarria would be a perennial MVP candidate.

He'll be a starter as early as next year.

Also, this is a terrible idea.

Burn this thread

don't do it.

Wow Im shocked at the negative responses here. If you could get an arm like Giolito or Jose De Leon, or a bat like Gallo, this would be a no brainer no?

Grilli

Benoit

Logan (or some other trade)

Biagini

Cecil

Chavez

Barnes

Is still an excellent pen.

Except I don't think Osuna has ever been close to 100 innings in a season. I think he'd need winter ball... But what do I know.

You have to think he'll retain most of his value into the offseason. He still has 4 years of control left. Keep him for the playoff run, then trade him to whatever team has their bullpen implode in the playoffs (if you're intent on moving him).

In December sure. You don't do it in the middle of a pennant race though. Once again these guys aren't computer simulations.

You've also assumed another addition and the call-up of Barnes. Not so fast, Cyborg!

Yeah its above average. When Sanchez goes to the pen it would be very good.

But what if who you acquire makes the team better now? Jose De Leon would enter rotation and bump Sanchez to pen making the team better immediately.

That pen isn't any better than the one we have now, and we currently do not have an excellent pen.

A lot of people dont realize, but our pen is good. We are 5th in the league in xFIP-.

There is no guarantee JDL comes up and effectively gets big league hitters out as a starter. If you move him to the pen you've just replaced Osuna.

The gain for this year seems so minimal to me that it's not worth it. Would JDL+Sanchez even be > Sanchez+Osuna ROS? Probably not.

An alternative view, just to play devil's advocate.

Osuna's value as a reliever might be at his highest right now. Teams who buy elite relievers are generally those that believe they have a shot at making the playoffs. This doesn't get more obvious than at the trade deadline, with only 50-60 games more to play. The only relievers that I can remember getting traded for a haul in the offseason have been Kimbrel and Chapman. We just saw that Chapman just got twice that value, as has Miller and the past, and Miller a few hours ago. Hell, even Mark Lowe was worth two prospects, and he's a total shitbag now. Elite relievers are different, but I think teams would rather pay now while a BP arm is pitching at their best rather than risk it next season when they might completely gascan as many do.

Osuna is fantastic, but maybe a team trading for him in the offseason weighs more heavily the risk that he might get injured, the possibility that their team might not be fully in the playoff hunt come midseason, and the risk that Osuna's walk rate will skyrocket to 5/9.

If he doesn't retain value, then he doesn't. I don't think the trade deadline is a good time for a team in 1st place to be looking at maximizing the trade return of their best reliever.

Just imagine if we were in 4th place, what kind of haul we'd be getting back in prospects right now! None of us would be able to hide our erections!

Just wait until next season. Imo we will be sellers

Right, I completely understand that, I'm just offering a different POV here. But if the Dodgers call you up and offer Jose De Leon, who might be as good as Osuna is right now, I just don't think you could turn down that kind of deal.
