Governator Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Yep. Devlin is f***ing s*** imo. I know some on here like him, but I find him to be the most monotone, deflating, boring f***er I've heard on Blue Jays sportscasts in a long time. I'd rather have Buck back even if he is drunk half the time and doesn't remember where he is or who's playing. I don't think anyone likes him here as a Buck substitute.

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Ok now you guys are getting a bit ridiculous. Barney hitting in that situation is fine. Especially if they want to keep Tulo/Saunders/Martin off their feet. Unless they are completely strung up, these guys can take an AB or field a few innings. What's more important, winning the game or giving them an extra hour off that will really impact nothing?
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Devlin does this weird thing where he pauses for an astronomical amount of time between each word... Like he can't find the right word, but for each word in the sentence. Is that how he does the raptors games?

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 this team hasn't done a good job at all this series. Only bright spot is Sanchez.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Score some runs boys we have 5 outs... errr

Praxis Verified Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Should we pinch hit for Carrera or Thole in the 9th? Maybe Saunders and Martin? Possibly Tulo for Barney?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Shut up. http://i.imgur.com/0m3ocyT.gif
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Eight strong from Dickey today, leaving Benoit to finish it in the 9th for his debut. Go Blue Jays! Well I got one part right haha
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 What can be done with Dickey? I would rather have Drew Hutchison or Jesse Chavez starting instead of Dickey.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Wow, I hope I can hit 95 with my fastball when I'm 39
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Our starter and 9th inning guy combine to be 80 years old.
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Well I trust him more than Storen.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Our starter and 9th inning guy combine to be 80 years old. With an average fastball velocity of like 87. Not bad, grandpa. Not bad.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Author Posted July 27, 2016 Well it was good while it lasted. It was a pleasure doing the GDT's these past couple of days. Hope to be back soon!

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Jays did well... bring on the division leaders... Go Jays Go!!!
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Not even a Jaysblue GDT can overcome the general shittiness of R.A. Dickey
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Biggest series of the year so far coming up. Really hoping we can take 2 of 3 from Baltimore.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Author Posted July 27, 2016 Not even a Jaysblue GDT can overcome the general shittiness of R.A. Dickey I blame John Gibbons for this.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Dickey just didn't have it.. errors by Pillar and Travis didn't help. And as for the Padres--we haven't even seen the young talent on the farm in Renfroe or Margot.. that team could be on the upswing soon if they get their pitching straightened out and get rid of Kemp. Of course, we're done seeing the Padres for a long time.. Bring on the O's. Outside of Sunday (which I will be in attendance), pitching favors Toronto this series. It's a very important series for Toronto, along with the Astros series. And BTW, KC and Tampa, who come after that, are a mess right now.. they look nothing like contenders at the moment.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Author Posted July 27, 2016 Melvin clean up hitter? I sent you a wise offer in the LOD.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Biggest series of the year so far coming up. Really hoping we can take 2 of 3 from Baltimore. Hopefully the Os pitching can fix our offensive struggles since the Allstar break
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Biggest series of the year so far coming up. Really hoping we can take 2 of 3 from Baltimore. Yep. We end our season with series against Orioles then Red Sox. Could be the most exciting finish to a season ever.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 I sent you a wise offer in the LOD. Sorry.. I will check
