Jonn's just being dumn... rain wouldn't ruin an artificial field regardless. It's all rubber underneath.

 

I just don't want the roof closed to be honest.

They better stick with Stroman here. Have someone up in the pen in the 9th...but give it to Stroman to go 9. This coming from a guy that despises pitchers seeing a pitcher for a 4th time.

Blue Jays now have 2 innings to 1 inning for the Royals. Twice as many chances to win the game.

 

Does Stroman pitch in the 9th?

Why not? The retractable roof is literally the only positive of this stadium

 

I don't think the roof should be closed in fall weather. Last October was gorgeous and the roof was closed for the playoffs. Apparently the roof can't close at a certain temperature. Good. Next time someone hit that open button by accident and say oops.

I agree, there should be a compromise. I don't think temp should determine roof closure, only if the forecast is suggesting chance of rain/snowfall. If it's clear as day on a brisk October night leave it open
