It's already happening, unless Smoak is sick or hurt. Paredes should never, ever DH over a healthy Smoak, especially coming off an off day.

Goins value is dropping. At first he was hitting against all RHP and some LHP, the Gibbons decided to finally platoon him with Barney facing the lefties and today Goins is on the bench against a LHP?

This is annoying, though. Why should he get ABs over an established player who is not only hitting well but plays a solid glove at 1B? ST was two months ago and the team is currently doing everything and anything it can to keep its head above water.
