I'm not upset. Tongue in cheek man. He sat a start over the catch he made against LAD that hurt him and we had an off day last week. His bat was hot and has cooled off badly the last couple weeks. I have irrational dislike for Zeke (he has been ok but he is so bad on D)

Your hate for Carrera isn't irrational. He sucks. We need a legit 4th outfielder.

Gibby starting Zeke in CF tonight. Um. Can I change my vote on firing Gibby?

Pillar has to have a nice off at some point and there are NO other options on the bench to cover CF.

Edwin has to hit to make any lineup work. right now Jose isn't getting much to hit and Ed is getting a steady diet of outside pitches that he refuses to hit the other way. that cuts the heart out of our offense

Ed just thinks HR =$$$$$ opposite field doubles = $$

Eddie saved the game yesterday?

and we should definitely use the results of one AB to judge the first 2 months

Agree. Shouldn't have used it. Edited it.

Yeah. You should have said some of Gibby's decisions are mentally challenged. Because that's not offensive or something.

Gibby started off the year making a handful of questionable decisions, but I think he's been better lately.

I don't like that he's always storming the field and reaming out umpires though. I know in his mind he's just "sticking up for his boys", but the Jays already have a horrible reputation around the league for being cry-baby whiners and Gibbons throwing fits every other day doesn't really help the narrative. A little fire here and there is good but he has to pick and choose his battles. I guess it's kind of ironic in a sense that they likely don't get the borderline calls in their favor because of the whining and yet the players just keep on escalating the situation.

All and all though I haven't seen too many awful calls go against the Jays.

I was watching the end of the Orioles/Angels game Saturday night and in the bottom of the 9th the ump called 2 strikes nearly in the dirt to punch out Yunel and he lost his s***... They were 2 of the worst pitch calls I've seen in any game this season and Scoscia went out to support Yunel and gave the ump his piece of mind but did it in a respectable manner. 2 batters later Trout got another call nearly in the dirt called a strike against him and Trout was shocked, but still didn't lose his s***. I had visions of the ump having plans for a "hot date" after the game fearing that the Angels may tie it up.

I know a lot of you guys are big into the advanced graphs and stats so if one of you guys knows where to find a pitch chart of that final half inning I guarantee it'll be worth a good laugh. Point is not every borderline call is worth rioting over. Scoscia and the Angels would have had every reason to go nuts and they still took the high-road... Just a little perspective compared to the Jays hot-headed temperament.

Which situation lately should he have just sat back and not come out to discuss?

I'm starting to lose track:p

Today was not his fault lol. The game was lost at the 6th inning when we went down and we were losing by one run. No way you can expect to do anything against Betances/Miller/Chapman. Offence couldn't score any runs and that's despite starting the 3rd with back to back hits... Jays still aren't able to cash in
