its not about hate prior. do I like him as a player? no. do I respect him as a player? yes. he has great skills. but to constantly defend him when he is wrong, don't cut it. in this specific case, he was totally intending on hurting him. these guys are pros, you got dinged, it's over. you want respect give respect. my question is, and be objective, do you think he was going to throw a punch? I think he was. Would odor get 8 games if he missed with his punch? not likely. I'm not saying odor should get less, I am saying it took 2 to tango here, he is not totally innocent. that's all I am saying.

Elvis Andrus connected with a punch. Are you on social media complaining he should have gotten 8 games too?

So MLB gave their press release and it says that Matt Bush was fined for intentionally throwing at Bautista. If they know he intentionally threw at him he should have been suspended.

I think he made that offer to Deadpool actually.

made it to me and anyone else who wanted to be in their toilet.

Rules are ridiculously slanted in favor of the one that hits first, both in-game and for later disciplinary actions. Good lesson to all the kids out there.

You look a lot like Deadpool

only online mate... lol

I was tossed for being a jays fan. King even posted the entire conversation. I had agreed that Jose was a whiner. Some of the ass hats couldn't understand why Jose would pimp a HR after having O'duh throw at his head. I called one of them a whiner and got tossed, but after i got an I don't care where you're from.

so their admin thinks yapping is fighting words so I guess calling someone a whiner is almost murder in their limited intellect alternate universe.

lol this is so embarrassing.

Are you advocating that Odor be charged criminally?

Probably an unpopular opinion, but honestly, yeah. I thought the same thing last year with the Harper/Papelbon incident. I don't understand why assault becomes ok because it happened during a baseball game.

with moves like that Machado could play soccer. they are always looking for guys who can take a dive

Bush was a pawn. He wasn't on the team last year and is dealing with his own issues. They put him in the game and told him to do it and he didn't have a choice.

The Rangers are cowards. Dyson (the butthurt bitch that started this all) or Holland (also butthurt last year) should have done it themselves when they had the chance.

Bannister absolutely should have been suspended if for nothing more than his goofy and retarded claps and yells when trying to incite the crowd further.

All that said, Bautista for one game and Donaldson and Pillar get nothing so I'll take it.

Yeah, this bothers me. If they were set on it happening when it did, they should have just had Dyson start the inning instead of Bush. Would have made a lot more sense that way. I mean, not that I agree with stupid retaliation like that, but Bush never should have had anything to do with it.

no, I' m just saying he's not totally innocent here. people are defending him 100% saying 1 game is too much. he deserves a suspension. more than one game.

No, not really. Nothing he did warrants a suspension on its own. One game was the max they could credibly give.

Thank you. That's all I was trying to say from the beginning. JB knew exactly what he was doing the minute the ball went into play. it was intentional.

people jump on me because I say he needs to get a suspension as well. odor 8, JB more than 1. that's all I'm saying

Most likely and it's total B.S. Matt Bush played a larger role in instigating the altercation on a more dangerous play and there's nothing.

I'm noticing a pattern in the last few incidents, including the Royals one last year, and I don't think the league is handling it correctly.

Everyone on the planet, including MLB, knows that this was started by Jeff Bannister and/or Matt Bush. Other incidents are just as obvious. Still, MLB always punishes the team with integrity that doesn't start s*** and let's the slimeball cowards get away with nothing. Perhaps we should just throw at the head of Odor in the first inning next time we play and let them retaliate.

this was not started by Bannister or Bush. And you all know it.

Right, it was started by the flip of a bat. Grow a pair and get the f*** over it already.

This whole s*** show was started by Elvis f***in' Andrus but Bautista made a convenient lightning rod for the Rangers and their fans and here we are.

all the suspensions suck. jose has done his 2nd dirty slide in this young season and he only gets 1 game? rougned odor f***ing punched a guy and only gets 8 games? who is in charge of this stuff? i bet if chase utley did that tackle slide now he'd only get like 3 games. these suspensions are basically meaningless.

I know that the bat flip stuff is ********...but look at all the things that have happened that Jays fans have said "You have to bean him". Being Bautista polarized matters, and his interviews after angered people more. In the end this has been the most exciting week in the Jays year.

Jays fans technically started the s*** show...or Martin/Choo depending on how you intrepret it. I think we have to ban at least one Jays fan who threw s*** that day to even the karma.

I'll say it again. Do I respect JB as a person? No, do I respect him as a player? Yes. He has great skills. But it takes more than that to make him special. He's done some real stupid s*** in his day.

what did Nolan ryan get for making ventura a punching bag?

I agree, none of it makes sense.

he probably got like the alabama penalty. you can play 99% of the game but dont start and miss the very first play. cuz its symbolic or some s*** like that.

There are players who do more stupid s*** all the time but they don't have the profile so nobody cares. Case in point, Rougned Odor, a younger lesser known player but far bigger ******** getting praised for punching Bautista.
