Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Oh right you are the guy from yesterday who said Odor could have killed somebody. Dead giveaway you've never been in a fight like a real man. I've been in fights and I've been sucker-punched, and unlike you I know the difference.
weams Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 We're really in virgin territory for hard slides. That slide was legal and fairly typical as recently as last year. Maybe a suspension for it but I feel like the fact that he's a repeat offender is more relevant than the circumstance of the slide itself. I just watched the video again. He did not by any stretch start the fight. He did not raise his arms until after the shove from Odor. When he's confronting Odor, he's clearly just yapping away at him. He started an argument not a fight. That's plain as day. Where I come from "yapping away" at someone is starting a fight. Down here if you run your mouth it is go time.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Consensual? Didnt look consensual to me. Seems fairly obvious that Bautista didn't realize who he was talking to. He thought he would just get in Odor's face and have a typical baseball argument. He's completely blind-sighted by the Odor shove. Only then does he raise his arms.

K but Baltimore is a piece of s*** slum, so whatever rules you have down there don't apply in real society. This isn't The Wire.

Maahfaace Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 When a hockey player use his stick to hit another player in the face and causes 17 stitches then criminal charges are laid and a conviction is registered. Fact! If Odor came at jose with a bat a split his face open I dont think many would be opposed to criminal charges. Not really comparable to sundays lil tussle
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Hey weams, I took you up on your offer, joined your forum last night, still waiting for my e-mail of acceptance? You do realize JD who he had the problem with was no longer in the game right? Why would he throw the bat at a random third sacker. The bat got away from him happens all the time. Look how many bats end up in the crowd. Yo man... set me up. Lets talk some ball.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Where I come from "yapping away" at someone is starting a fight. Down here if you run your mouth it is go time. Barbaric

Statman Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Hey weams, I took you up on your offer, joined your forum last night, still waiting for my e-mail of acceptance? Conveniently weamer has ignored this post. You smelling a fraud Spanky?
weams Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Yo man... set me up. Lets talk some ball. I made no such offer to you. I personally won't be accepting your account. If Tony or somebody else does thats on them.

weams Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 so everytime players yap at each other during a game we should hand down suspensions because they were clearly starting to initiate a fight? Get a clue You come up to me on the streets "yapping" like Baustista did. What do you think I'm going to do to you?
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 If Odor came at jose with a bat a split his face open I dont think many would be opposed to criminal charges. Not really comparable to sundays lil tussle My point was exactly that, Bautista and Odor was actually a consensual fight, therefore NOT an assault.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I made no such offer to you. I personally won't be accepting your account. If Tony or somebody else does thats on them. You offered our forum, yesterday man, one month no ban, no?
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I've been in fights and I've been sucker-punched, and unlike you I know the difference. Clearly you dont know the difference, a sucker-punch is when someone isnt paying attention. Bats was up in Odor's face, although he didnt expect a right cross at that moment, it most certainly wasnt a sucker punch. Slap fights with your sister dont count as fights ding dong
Statman Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I made no such offer to you. I personally won't be accepting your account. If Tony or somebody else does thats on them. You are a fraud as you said yesterday anyone can join from this forum and you would let them post for a month at OH without a ban. Fraud, troll, delusional, idiot...that seems about right.
weams Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 You offered our forum, yesterday man, one month no ban, no? If it was proven I banned anyone for being a Jays fan. I have never done that.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 You offered our forum, yesterday man, one month no ban, no? I think he made that offer to Deadpool actually.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 My point was exactly that, Bautista and Odor was actually a consensual fight, therefore NOT an assault. There is no such law. Punching someone is assault, whether charges are pressed or not is an entirely different matter.
weams Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Guys, I haven't insulted anyone on this forum. I've talked baseball and left it at that. yet people still keep calling for my ban? What gives? I'm not even here long I'll be gone before the end of the night.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 If it was proven I banned anyone for being a Jays fan. I have never done that. So I can't join because?
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I'm not sure how this thread is derailed. It's a thread about the suspension no? Take weams off your IL and re-read.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 You come up to me on the streets "yapping" like Baustista did. What do you think I'm going to do to you? Probably piss your pants, maybe tear up and run away? You seem like a wannabe tough-guy bitch.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I think he made that offer to Deadpool actually. No.

A sucker punch is like the knock-out game the criminal punks are playing.
