John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 That's how Martin should approach every AB. Opposite field and he may just turn around this season for himslef
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Break out party! I'll get the penicillin. ..
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Alright, those 2 runs are yuuuuuuuge. Now I'm comfortable with sending Happ back out to finish it off.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 I think i referred it to a "mini slump", more directed to his power. Why all the excitement and why the sudden surge? You feel you found something to come out of the weeds and pound on? Pathetic. Literally trying to get a rise out of you and you're obliging.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Looks fine to me? Nice job by Martin
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 As a DH Edwin is really limited. As a 34 year old 2.5 WAR player I can't see him getting much. He's got pop, 40 hr threat, the dont grow on trees. He's on pace this year for another 35 to 40 and 100 + rbi. He will get 3 years min on the free agent market
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Unless there is a better angle there really is no way you can overturn that.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Looks pretty obvious that he touched the base
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Dumb review, he did not miss that bag.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Dumb review, he did not miss that bag. Meh, 9th inning with 2 outs... may as well take the shot and hope some idiot in New York has his glasses off

If he has a 120 wRC+ this year and the strikeouts continue to be a problem I don't think its a given he gets 3 years with the QO attached.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Stupid bitch, doesn't give the guy a hand, lol.

I agree, but Edwin can full time play 1b and do it adequately. His war takes a hit from DH ing 90% of the time. I remember people s***ing on him last year saying he was done and put anot her monster 150 wrc+ season. He's averaged 4 war over the last 4 years and I wouldn't count him out from finishing the season in that range again.
