Governator Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Lets go Blue Jays!! I've been feeling it all day staying up last night.. hopefully can make it tonight I normally stay up for all the West coast games, but last night fell asleep during inning 3 lol. Had a great sleep no complaints, glad we won yadda yadda ya
Jonzo Verified Member Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Happ pitching? This ones gonna go until 4am
Psi Verified Member Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Why is Pillar leading off again? Saunders works better in the 5-hole?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Why is Pillar leading off again? Why not? He's probably our hottest hitter right now, and with Smoak out of the lineup, Pillar hitting 1st makes sense
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Why is Pillar leading off again? Last 2 weeks he's been the best hitter on the team. 178wRC+
Governator Community Moderator Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 I never thought Tulo, Martin back to back could be such a bad combo. Top it off with Goins for the trifecta
Psi Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Last 2 weeks he's been the best hitter on the team. 178wRC+ That's not really a legitimate argument though. The worst hitter in baseball can have the best 2 weeks, doesn't mean you should put him anywhere else but dead last.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Author Posted May 11, 2016 Barney > Goins Dylan > Goins

Even though Tulo and Martin have been better hitters in their careers I don't think anyone would want them to be hitting ahead of Pillar in the lineup right now. Personally I like Pillar lower in the order since he's the best contact hitter on the team and he will get more opportunities to hit with guys on base in those situations but its not the most outrageous decision given what has happened so far this season.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Got to win this with Cain pitching....let's hope the offensive struggles come to an end soon. Goins over Barney again? f*** Gibbons.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 The sox are playing well and hitting a tonne ugh.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Bautista's average creeping to close to .200.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Bautista's average creeping to close to .200. sad that .200 looks better than several starters on our team lol
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Matt Cain is essentially batting practice these days. Less than 5 runs off him would be a failure.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 sad that .200 looks better than several starters on our team lol Lol sad but true.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 So many meatballs. Jays will make Cain look good. Offense is putrid. Still trying to pull everything that's away.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Edwin missed about 5 meatballs that AB.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Everyone but Donaldson is doing their best impressions of Chris Davis 2014.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 I am starting to think the offense has taken a huge step back this year and it won't recover.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Matt Cain is essentially batting practice these days. Less than 5 runs off him would be a failure. For some reasonI don't think that's going to happen
