AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I can't stand this little s***. He's been in MLB for less than a season, contributes negatively with the bat, but this little turd still things he's a big deal, and struts around like he's got a 12 inch cock. He's much too important to run out ground balls, like every other s***** hitting middle infielder has done since the beginning of time, and can't be bothered learning how to bunt cuz he's too much of a stud. Send him back to the minors where he can whine about his daily per diem for a couple of years, while staying in cum-soaked hotels, until he learns some humility.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 struts around like he's got a 12 inch cock. Maybe he does? Hurl would probably (indirectly) know.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I don't know man, gruber92 says Goins will provide at least 2 WAR if he plays every day. I'm good with that.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Goins will be demoted once Travis is back.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Goins will be demoted once Travis is back. Would be excellent but instead it will be Travis who's demoted to AAA until he "earns" his way back. It's completely moronic but I expect Gibbons to fight for Goins and do just that. If Travis does come right to the Majors after his extended spring stint, then Barney will be sent down, for the same reasons as above. Gibby has a love affair with Goins.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Goins is not good...but he's not the reason the team is losing.

Travis will play a rehab stint and be back up. No doubt in my mind.

Harvey_Specter Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Goins will be demoted once Travis is back. I bet they rid of Barney instead of Goins down
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I bet they rid of Barney instead of Goins down Nah Barney has a major league contract and would have to be exposed to waivers. Goins has a minor league option. It's logical.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I really hope you're right man. I don't see any situation in which Travis is not added to the 25-man roster upon completion of his rehab stint.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I don't see any situation in which Travis is not added to the 25-man roster upon completion of his rehab stint. The fact that I'm even uncertain about this speaks volumes about Gibbons.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 The fact that I'm even uncertain about this speaks volumes about Gibbons. There's just no f***ing way. In that situation, Atkins would have to override Gibbons
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 The fact that I'm even uncertain about this speaks volumes about Gibbons. lol... who the f*** are you?

Zaun of the Dead Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I think the kid CAN hit but he refuses to do the little things at the plate and has super selfish ABs. He'll never learn to hit as long as he keeps swinging away like he's roger maris.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 goins is not good...but he's not the reason the team is losing. -0.6 war
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 We can't wait for Travis. Barney should be starting in the interim
Nabru Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Why do some people keep referring to Goins as a kid? At 28, he's nearly past his prime (if he had one) in MLB years.
JosJos Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Gibbons love affair with Goins meaning he won't be bench at all except day off even when Barney play better.
Statman Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 The last two months of the 2015 season and the praise he was hearing from Gibbons, Wilner and all the casual fans has really gone to his head. Travis can't get back soon enough.

BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Travis is at extended ST now, and then after some time I assume goes to Buffalo for a bit. How long till he's with the Jays?
CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 It will be interesting to see how they handle things when Travis is ready to go. They seem to make a lot of moves based on guys having options (e.g., Zeke); I'm wondering if this will apply to Goins or not.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Goins is not good...but he's not the reason the team is losing. A 13 wRC+ is part of the reason. His D hasn't been that good either. Cant bunt; put a ball in play or take a BB consistently. Its 2014 all over again.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Travis is at extended ST now, and then after some time I assume goes to Buffalo for a bit. How long till he's with the Jays? Optimistically, June.
