Nice little turnaround after the pair of singles. Especially promising was the K to Longoria mixing it up with the breaking ball.

PED's don't make you have the ability that he did (not even remotely close), but okay.

 

Exactly. All it did was allow him to perform at his peak all the time instead of just more often than not

Yeah, there was a ton of IBB's though. Best eye in the game, ever.

Bonds had a 27% BB rate and .480 OBP at 43 years old. I know PEDs prolong your career but do they make you immortal? Because if you put Bonds on an aging curve, at what point does his offence ever get under a 100 wRC+? 50 years old? The guy was made to play baseball.

 

Apparently it shortens your life for sure. Heavy price to pay for the cheating glory.
