intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Pillar has been clueless and almost everybody saw it coming.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 God this team. I now people say its early but come the f*** one. What if this slump lasts 20 games into the season? or 40? or 60? Were you frozen through 2015?
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Kimbrel = game over Only 90% of the time
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 His foot was off the bag. Pillar is garbage regardless. Take the Blue Jays goggles off Gruber.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 If Gibby doesn't get Pillar out of the lead off spot ASAP, I have zero faith in his leadership qualities, not that I had much faith in him regardless.

Boston could win the division, and we've played them twice. The Jays match up well against other teams, but Boston is very well rounded. The Jays do have some older players and average SP but they should still be above .500 and be in the hunt most of the year. Do you think the jays will play this bad against the angels/baltimore/cle/min etc..?
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 No it didn't. The signs and struggles at the plate were there prior to the trade, just not in as large as a sample as they are now. He was in a major hitting slump when he was traded to the Jays. Damn. Well that blows.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 f*** I hate Boston. Even when we were steamrolling over everyone else last year, still couldn't beat these annoying f***s.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 It very clearly was not. Take the Blue Jays goggles off Gruber. Ok, I didn't get a good look initially. Calm the f*** down.
Statman Verified Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Damn. Well that blows. Yeah...it was something crazy like 3 for 50 when he was traded to Jays.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Ok, I didn't get a good look initially. Calm the f*** down. not sure how I could've said it calmer.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 I hate it when Cecil faces Ortiz, he sits on the curve and gets important hits because there's no plan from the Jays aside from the curve. Just like when they pitch Pedroia away, away, away and then watch the opposite field single and wonder why it happened
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Ok, I didn't get a good look initially. Calm the f*** down. Judging by their responses, they don't seem agitated. You on the other hand...
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 WTF? Barney with some horrible f***ing footwork, but cmon umpires. Pedroia got the call earlier.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 This sucks but there's no reason to panic. 11 game winning streak will happen soon enough.

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Umps not going to reverse the rare time one pulls off an eagle eye. Edit: wow, crow for dinner
