Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 And he pitched the day before. Yea but he didn't pitch last night. You could see why people are angry. Because he warmed up last night as insurance. We couldn't use him in the spot we really needed him in. That all goes in to terrible bullpen management.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Anyone wanna bet we don't bother to PH for Carrera here? I will.
ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Well ya know Leon had a great spring for us, he really did. Just showin' a little confidence in the kid, he's gonna be big for us this year.
jerry Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 So much for the great pen they assembled in the off season
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 There's really no excuse for not using Osuna in the most important moment of a game in the 8th with Cecil and Storen unavail. Osuna is only allowed to pitch the 9th, DUH. Its like you know nothing about baseball, you've probably never played the game
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 His use of Hawkins over Hendriks; Sanchez vs LHB and many other pen mgm decisions were a joke This and misusing Lowe. Gibby is s***
bowld Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Amazing that we end up splitting this series. Should have swept it
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Gibbons' bullpen management in the Dickey ALCS game was atrocious Agreed. I thought he should have gone to Pennington earlier
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 There is nothing positive about either of the last two games. Sanchez was good yesterday
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Umpire certainly hasn't helped today.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Chavez Cecil and Stroren were all unavailable. I wouldn't have brought Biagini in that spot given how nervous he was in Montreal. Still, Floyd and Osuna better options. Ya obviously you don't being in Biagini, but he would be above Leon for me. At least he has decent GIDP potential.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Gibby is in on the MLB conspiracy to keep us down.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 So is there anything positive at all in this game? Offense has been s*** Colabello has been brutal JD might have a groin injury Gibbons might be dumber than last year ....no, nothing positive my friend
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Was he good the first time? I didn't follow baseball back then, but doesn't seem to make much sense to bring back a guy who had no success previously... He actually declined from a bullpen management point of view. But expectations were a lot lower back than. You don't bring Arnold Leon into that situation under any circumstance.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Umpire certainly hasn't helped today. Ump is weird today, first calls low strikes, then stops, then starts again
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 There is nothing positive about either of the last two games. Sanchez was good and Happ was solid
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Sanchez was good yesterday Should've added aside from the starting pitching, the way they've lost these two games have been complete kicks in the nuts though.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Gibby is in on the MLB conspiracy to keep us down. I swear I was thinking the same right now😂

jerry Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Give gibbons the hook now Can't stand his bullpen management in close games. Save us some misery
