General 2016 Blue Jays discussion thread

There are so many people on here who follow either Jays Reddit or Jays Twitter or the Jays blogosphere or some combination of the above that there's very little chance anything significant will slip through the cracks and not make it here and I spend enough time here as it is without needing to seek my Jays stuff elsewhere. News gets here promptly and gets pretty thoroughly analyzed in no time.

 

I don't have twitter and just for an example, last night people wanted to know what was going on with Gavin Floyd.

 

I go to twitter, type in Gavin Floyd, and there's a recent update. Pretty easy.

Oh yea I basically only check here for Jays news and I know if something major is developing it hits the main forum in it's own thread (however, BREAKING NEWS we're in on Tebow type of threads are trollololol to those of us who see it that way lol). I don't really use Reddit for baseball but it's just a great site if you unsubscribe to 80% of the default subreddits and customize it for yourself to the subjects that interest you.

Quick question. I got tickets for the Jays vs Yankees for Monday but it's showing rain, if it's cancels will they hold a day-night double header on Tuesday?

Yeah... It's pretty dumb to do that in the first place but it's especially dumb when the person you're calling out has actually trimmed down and done a far better job managing their weight than you have. I used to follow HighSockMojo back when I was more into Jays twitter and I remember when she started working out. She's clearly had success with it and looks a lot trimmer than the two idiots calling her out for being fat. Not that it matters of course but it's just amazing what hypocrites those two are.

 

Your problem was that you used twitter primarily to follow "Jays twitter". I used to do this too, I followed tons of other fans but I found it unenjoyable and uninformative just reading 50+ "BAUTISTA!!" Tweets everytime he hit a home run, like a GDT.

 

I unfollowed all those people except the ones I actually enjoyed and started following beat writers for every team, scouts etc. And my twitter experience has gone up by a lot.
