It really isn't travel a bit to other stadiums and besides never having a rain delay or rain out the Skydome is a hot pile of s***. I have been to every ballpark now in the bigs and the Trop is the worst and the Skydome is 2nd behind it, Arlington's is s*** too, just boring and a horrible location.

Was this between all your Vegas trips?

I've also been to every stadium, and a few that are no longer around. My bottom five visited are the Trop, Fenway (it's a dump), Old Yankee Stadium, Rogers Centre and Arlington.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Rangers stadium is great. The area it's in is horrible for a stadium, but the stadium itself is pretty good.

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 You've been to every stadium? Was this between all your Vegas trips? Made it to Vegas, Minneapolis and Anaheim in a month while also having a full time job. Must be nice...

I get 5 weeks of vacation a year with overtime taken as lieu time instead, that's how I manage. I haven't had a Christmas/New Years/Long weekend off in 6 years so I accumulate a lot of time off by working those days that you Monday - Friday 9-5 people have off all the time.

Naw, my lady and I don't have kids, I bought a condo a few years ago when I was 23 before prices got crazy and yeah some people buy trucks, boats, ATV's and s***, I personally travel and see the world instead. Japan again in August with a detour down to Australia.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I actually really enjoyed Fenway. Can't wait to go to Fenway one day. If we're talking about bad ball parks besides Rogers Centre and the Trop....Wrigley got really annoying pretty quick once the lore of it wore off it a bit. This was before the renovations though.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Aside from the Rogers Centre I've only been to Progressive Field. Kind of can't believe that was ten years ago.

I don't get you people. Wrigley was one of my favorites. The parks I've gone to: PNC and Camden were best, Wrigley, Citi and Fenway were nice, Nationals, Progressive and Comerica were mehhhhh, and RC and New Yankee are both pretty bad.

I think PNC is incredible....
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I think PNC is incredible.... I can't imagine a nicer place to watch a baseball game. Maybe AT&T will beat it when I finally get there, but I just enjoyed Pittsburgh so much.
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I was listening to the Twins feed Park Audio on MLB.TV and it lines up with what Donaldson said after the game. I couldn't understand what Donaldson said to the Twins dugout, though. They were showing Eduardo Nunez throw the ball around, when a bunch of yelling was going on, and when Donaldson said something back he was facing the umpire.. and then the ump tossed Donaldson, he yelled "I wasn't even f***ing talking to you" among other things. Here is Donaldson yelling at the dugout, and the ump just about to throw his hand. http://i.imgur.com/whnMMJW.png and then right after the ejection, he was pointing at the Twins dugout. http://i.imgur.com/rwx9ccb.png Dumb ejection.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 I think PNC is incredible.... I'm dying to go there. I'd be completely fine seeing a non-Jays game there, but I know my best friend wouldn't be interested in that, so I need the Jays to play there. Hopefully next year.

You'll find Fenway much the same. Great atmosphere but it's a shithole physically. Fun though, it really is. (And yes I've been to both)
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 All this PNC Park talk excites me. I'm going this year in August to see Pirates vs Astros.

That being said, I've never been to PNC...or Safeco which I hear is amazing. I'll be crossing off Wrigley and US Cellular field in July. I would be crossing off Safeco in 2 weeks but unfortunately they're on a road trip when I'm there
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 I actually really enjoyed Fenway. I enjoyed the ambience and the incredible experience outside Fenway, but theres a lot of atrocious sight lines all over that park. Great history but it's time as a relevant park has come and gone.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 I think sitting on top of the green monster would be one of the coolest experiences as a baseball fan.
