This team is stressing me out

 

SP has been good and better than expected really, defense is good

 

Unresolved BP questions, the awful bench, and the bottom third of the order are a real problem

 

All issues that can be dealt with during the season. I just hope Gibbons and the FO have the smarts and the resources to figure it out

Now, the BP may sort itself out if Gibby finds the right roles for the guys he has and if Cecil returns to form

 

The offense and bench gets better when Travis is back. Goins then becomes the backup to Travis and Tulo.

 

Backup catcher and 4th OF though may remain major weaknesses if they don't do anything.

 

Also, I'm not holding my breath that all of three of Sanchez, Happ and Estrada will keep this up so I want improvements elsewhere

So am I. That game last night had the stink of death to it. Felt like we could win it, but weren't going to. Puts me in a sour mood.

 

Unlucky as fk, but we had too many chances we didn't capitalize on. They got lucky in the 10th on the flare and a dribbler and then Thole duffs one.

 

Its early but we got some issues - Thole, Carerra and Cola cant be on an MLB roster for a team in this division who wants to contend.
