Not really... with scattered PAs throughout his career he's been able to compile 0.7 WAR in about one season worth of PA. It's a lot easier to play baseball with everyday at bats vs coming off the bench or playing once every fifth day. If he were to play everyday he probably could be a 2+ WAR player. That's average. Average != sucks.

A lot of this is because most of his innings in the majors are as a reliever (not saying he can't be better as a starter though).
