G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 Might as well just write Edwin off until May 1 then??
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Might as well just write Edwin off until May 1 then?? Him being ineffective until June is a good bet, too
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Pretty much the Opening Day lineups for both teams save for a couple of players, notably Edwin.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 Pretty much the Opening Day lineups for both teams save for a couple of players, notably Edwin. Gut says Edwin won't be in the opening day lineup
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Man I wish this game was televised. Stroman pitching and the Jays full lineup save Edwin. f***in SN
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Might as well just write Edwin off until May 1 then?? I thought Edwin was scheduled to dh in a minor league game today
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 How many innings do you think Stro will go today? 6?
flafson Verified Member Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 How many innings do you think Stro will go today? 6? According to Buck, 9.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Is anyone else not really impressed with Martin's production last year? He also cost the Jays a few runs in the playoffs with some brain fart plays.

He had 1 abysmal month (July/August?) but was solid other than that.

He also cost the Jays a few runs in the playoffs with some brain fart plays. He had a great first half, then he got injured (I think it was the thumb after receiving a knuckler) and he played through it stubbornly. He has done a great job considering his age. We are fortunate he hasn't been deadweight at all.

He also cost the Jays a few runs in the playoffs with some brain fart plays. 3.5 WAR without including framing. 114 wRC+. Career high home run total. Generally very good defense. I'm plenty happy with Martin. Yeah he had some playoff gaffes but he really helped us get there
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I'm so sick of the Phillies.

flafson Verified Member Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I'm so sick of the Phillies. At least they aren't forcing us to let the pitcher hit.
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Saunders should be batting 5th
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Is anyone else not really impressed with Martin's production last year? He also cost the Jays a few runs in the playoffs with some brain fart plays. You stand alone.
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I picked up Franco in my draft, hoping he stays hot.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Saunders should be batting 5th Yeah I'm not a fan of him hitting 8th. He's probably the 4th best hitter vs RHP in that lineup (EE excluded).

Let's give the job to AJ Jimenez I just meant that he seemed to under perform last year. Then I forgot he did get injured on a knuckleball and probably played through a lot of pain. He doesn't take many walks and strikes out a lot it seems.
