Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 It's more like this: Thread starts on interesting premise Everyone agrees on something usually unrelated Someone disagrees and the swarm jumps all over them Mods are called for Thread degenerates into rating female sportscasters TNA Spanky makes a laconic comment that adds nothing Thread is locked or forgotten Rinse and repeat... S'up?
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I wish Alexandra Daddario was a sportscaster. I would rate her quite high.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2016 Author Posted April 3, 2016 My top 3 candidates 2016 season: Colabello v 2015 season Estrada v 2015 season Sanchez v 2016 spring training Good start
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Good start Good? Maybe if you're a negative nancy
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Good? Maybe if you're a negative nancy That's one way to look at it. Another would be not to bet on the likelihood of a career busted minor leaguer carrying a .411 babip through another season, when the only way he can be relevant is to dupicate that highly unlikley scenaio, since he absolutely and inarguably sucks at defense.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I've got a progression to the mean candidate.........Gibby He was good today in his decisions minus starting Bello vs Archer.

What did he do today other than set the lineup and swap Stroman for Osuna? I guess he challenged the call at first base. Other than he could have been asleep. Like 15 of his hitters K'd. Not even a chance to see a hit and run. Of the three things he did today, two were obvious and one was idiotic.

Pretty hard to deny this, but i do think he'll contribute with some timely hitting this season. He seems to be lunging a bit at the moment, he'll adjust, although repeating what he did last year should not be expected.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 soooo Is Cola starting tomorrow? Against a LHP, I would hope so.

He's not actually that bad at defense. It can definitely be argued.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 El beisbol esta de vuelta!!
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Predicting a regression from Colabello is like predicting the sun will rise tomorrow. Really wish the Jays moved him, even if it was for a fringy minor league SP with options. Reserving a bench spot for a 1B is not a good use of the bench.

It doesn't hurt them to find out his true talent. He's cheap and expendable
