Well I think spending is mostly situational. Cubs and Astros were s*** for a while so they didn't spend money. Now that the Cubs developed young players, they're flexing their payroll muscles. Astros will probably follow suit shortly (argument could be made they should have already).

 

I think even the most casual fans would be against throwing money out the window on s*** free agents to be a marginal team like SEA, BAL or CWS or something.

 

Would I spend money now if I were Rogers? Yes. I think it's ridiculous that after last year our payroll has dipped below BAL, SEA, KC. $25-$30M gap between us and LAA/TEX...

 

We are AL favourites if we spent an extra $20M this past off-season.

I like boobs. I don't have super high standards or anything, I just think she looks kinda weird. I mean, I'd crawl through a hundred miles of glass just to smell Kate Beirness' fart but Jackie Redmond is nowhere near her imo.

TBH I think Jackie Redmond was misplaced after Rogers took over The Score (which I dearly miss btw). She was great as the hostess of a show that took a more informal look at the day's headlines with a guest panel, and she often dressed more casually and seemed to really enjoy her job.

 

As soon as Rogers took over it was like they scrubbed her up, put a new face on her and ordered her to become just another info-babe, which was a huge waste of her talent. What are you going to do if you were her though? There are basically now only 2 sports organizations that can hire you in Canada and you don't want to piss off one of them.

she wasnt that great. most of what i remember from that show was the chubby ginger gambler named Cam talking about lines and parlays and which golfers are going to win some meaningless event i dont care about seated next to her. she always had the same face. an uglier, more painted up version of rachel starr's face.
