Stroman is the best thing that could happen to Sanchez. Feel like the guy just puts positive vibes and talks Sanchez up until Sanchez decided to believe it himself. All this new health kick and swagger is a direct result of being bffs with Stroman. Really believe his whole mentality has been helped to the point he could become a great starter.

I'm sure they could afford to give 30M to every men on the 25, doesn't mean that they should or that it's a good idea.

Excellent. Watching Sanchez develop at the MLB level makes me wonder how much better he would be with a full year in each of A+, AA, AAA working on secondaries and command.

It really seems like you want him to fail to justify your prediction that he's a terrible starter......maybe it's just me but that vibe comes from many on this site

9 innings, 10 K's, 1 BB so far this spring for Sanchez. Have to admit, he's really been impressive so far this spring. Keep up the good work.

 

Sure, it's only the spring, but the fact that his K's are up and BB's are down when they were both pretty bad even in the minors is definitely really encouraging.

His past pro innings suggest he wasn't a viable solution, but I'd love to see him make the next step. I mean, who wouldn't?
