It could be because of the cash involved as well. Maybe the Jays want the difference covered, while the Reds will only pay a portion, or something along those lines.

We have no idea if its the medical though. Its more likely the prospects going back. I would like to think the Blue Jays wouls have non tendered Saunders if his medicals were that alarming.

 

The point was that we have no idea about anything, and celebrating a deal falling through is silly when we don't know what the deal is.

I won't even mention the possibility that Bruce could replace Jose Bautista in RF next year if he leaves. Cheaper, too ...

If I were him and I could sue I would do it in a heartbeat. The sprinkler incident is entirely Blue Jays fault.
