Or if there's another deal coming of some sort. This has made me lose a lot of confidence in Shatkins.

 

Why not wait to see the actual deal before passing judgement?

Hope the Jays aren't giving up anything other than Saunders...but something tells me a prospect will be going back. Maybe not a good one, but someone.

The difference in salary between Bruce and Saunders is so big that I can't possibly see the Jays paying the difference. There has to be a s*** ton of money being covered, and maybe the Jays have to throw in a prospect to compensate for that. Hopefully not a good one.

Imagine the backlash if no cash or prospects are going to Toronto in the deal.

 

I imagine people will say "well this is stupid and confusing" and then forget about it / drink the Bruce kool-aid.

 

I'm already sipping it tbh and it's fine
